It's a rotten place when we have to go to these lengths to convince our democratically elected government to continue to support our British citizens to keep them alive and well when you consider how much overseas aid funding we send to countries developing their own space programme. As I understand it the UK is sending India millions of pounds for that very purpose.

The docs said my dad had carried a Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumour for many years before he was diagnosed, he died at 74 in Nov 2013. He lived a long time with it.
