One more cigar smoker here. I've been to Cuba three times now and have a nice little selection of cigars in a small humidor. Cohiba are deffo my favourite but am making do with Montecristo 4's and 5's, along with some Cohiba Especiales at the moment.

So what kind of interest do we have in a PH Cigar and Tipple night?

Looking back at this thread, these are the names that have come out (with location):
Cuchillo West Sussex
LukeBird Bournemouth
Maxf London
groomi Kent
markomah Dublin

Any others?
Would love to but being based in Glasgow, it would be a bit of a trip for a smokewink

So if we went for a central location, we're in the middle of the sea! hehe

Any ideas for a decent venue which still allows smoking? Is there such a place anymore?

Perhaps the place in Soho would allow a 'private' sampling (although no drinking)?

How about meeting up in Windsor? Especially on a nice day, cigar and a pint by the river.

Suits me hehe

Outside at Browns wouldnt be a bad location, food is reasonable money, booze is hilarious money and I have to admit a bit of an aversion to the place as it replaced the best pub on earth.

But it does have an outside and is near the river.

I could probably do Windsor but would need a fairly large heads up as it is quite a blast from Bournemouth! hehe
That is unless you mean the Windsor in Dorset!wink

I don't like this thread anymore. I've just ordered a small humidor and I wasn't intending on doing that when I woke up this morning.

This meet, that might be in Windsor, dont go.

The humidor in the Havana House leads to lots of money literally going up in smoke.

I like a nice cigar but then he introduced me to vintage cigars.

The bugger.

Wouldn't be able to make the windsor meet so it was a sort of a consolation prize to myselfwink

It's just a cheap one - I'm not a regular or serious smoker but do occasionally get gifted a cigar and I like to save them for a special occasion so thought this would fit the bill

my humidor

Nice!

I'm after a travel humidor as I end up smoking most when I'm on holiday - anyone know if the Csonka ones are any good?

I spent quite a while looking for a decent travel humidor as I smoke most on holiday too. I ended buying one from America, the 007 Humidor from this place

http://www.tampahumidor.com/sd4/department/travel-...

Apart from the gauge being slightly out I've been very happy with it.

I have the Csonka Cigar Valet with accessories - Black

Its crap. The 2 metal bars that hold the two layers of Cigars in place never stay put and fall out when you open the box. The seal is not very good so it drys out very fast as well. The cutter just mashes the cigar and the humidity gauge could not gauge a damn thing!

Thinking of getting something like this: Cigar Caddy 15ct Travel Humidor
