Jeans have got to be Edwin ED55 slim fit, Armani J06, 7 For All Mankind slim, a slim fit Nudie jeans whose style name I can't remember off the top of my head or Levis 511 for me.
Edwin ED-55 are the only jeans I ever wear now. Absolute great fit and can regularly pick them up for around £50 a pair. Have you got the rainbow selvage denim ones. Witt the striped trim
Depending on your size, they're even cheaper at the moment on Woodhouse! No, I've not got those, just a few pairs of selvedge ones in varying degrees of fade (the reason I like to buy selvedge denim) and a couple of other normal denim pairs.

The Nudie jeans you refer to, Thin Finn perhaps? I have bought my last 3 pairs from Nudie, fit perfectly.
That'll be the ones! I started with Slim Jim about 10 years ago during my style change from bootcut to slim fit but they fely a bit baggy, so I moved on to something those Thin Finn ones.

Whilst we're on jeans. What do we use for a smarter jean? I'm currently using Crew because they're relitively cheap. I wear them to work most days.

As the shoe of choice on this thread is tan brogues surely tweed would be the answer?

I missed the burgundy shoe bit, I see someone posted these...

Yeah you do look like a skinhead! smile But a nice skinhead.

Regarding jeans, we sell more Replay Anbass than every other jean put together.

These are the Anbass shape...

And Anbass in Hyerflex....

It was me. I tried on a pair of the burgundy ones and I thought, "no, that makes my jeans look odd at the knee. What would happen if I rolled up my jeans..."

By coincidence I showed up at the shop in a Crombie.

It would only have taken a moment's work with a pocket square and calling in the barber shop on the way home to have completed the look.

That's all I use on mine, unless there is an obvious scuff to cover/hide.
Finding a tan polish, especially one that light would likely prove impossible.
If you do find one, I want some!

do higher quality leather shoes scuff less than cheaper leather? I always think that the hallmark of cheaper shoes is raggedy leather, but i do realise that you also need to not bash them on things... easier said than done of course esp if worn every day for work.
