So, I need slave wheels for the Audi for next weekend when it goes into the body shop for a week to have its bits and bobs tidied up. Usual chancers on eBay asking lots for not much but I found a guy asking two hundred or offers for four alloys with winter tyres. Bingo. Slave wheels while I have the others refurbished and next October I have a set of wheels with winter tyres. The advert said there were two offers on them so I emailed him and said if I come and look and they're okay I'll have them for the two hundred. Drove up there earlier. What a nice chap. I looked at them, they're fine and I said great I'll give you the two hundred. He said no, give me a hundred and seventy, that's what the highest offer is. So I said no, I said I'd give you two hundred. He said you can't do that, the best offer was a hundred and seventy. I said how about if I give you a hundred and eighty? I have the winning bid, you get ten quid extra, I get the wheels and tyres and twenty quid. Chuffed to monkeys he was.

What a nice chap.

Onesies (skin itched even typing the word) are fit only for a bonfire (the Princesses wear them after school sometimes and Mrs Champers had a Christmas one)
