Did you try the coil fix of reseating the earthing wires? That always works for me.
Yes, possible I'm just doing it wrong though.
Smokeey - it pours out of the air holes.

I did find an aspire triton in my drawer of goodies, using that now instead. Can't remember why I stopped using it!

The Kanger toptank mini seems to be reasonably leak free. ok it has leaked on me once
I've recently gone back to this tank and dropped from 1.5ohms to 1.2 which I'm enjoying more... Perhaps I will eventually go sub!

Mine leaks occasionally and enough to make me never quite trust it. But I'm curious why it would 'occasionally' leak? Same coils, same liquids.... nothing much changes.

I have a Kanger Mini with a Toptank fitted and interestingly...

If I leave it upright on my desk, it'll happily sit there for days on end without leaking.

If I have it with my in the car, standing upright in the little compartment behind the gearstick, it'll leak in minutes.

I don't think it likes being shaken smile

Who does? smile

Odd though, I don't shake mine, but it does embarrass itself from time to time.

I direct lung inhale, the 1.2ohm horizontal coils were perfect. They switched to vertical coils and I can't get a decent drag without it tasting burnt at the end of the drag. I have one of mine running a 0.5ohm coil at 35w and closing the airflow down seems to work. drinks juice though

Bagged some Manabush liquids and suddenly we have flavour! What sort of sh!t must I have been buying! It is certainly a lot more, how should I say, gloopy (thixatropic!) than previous liquids. Thanks for the excellent suggestions from all. I may even plump for a new tank too at some point.

Yay, welcome to proper vaping! Good liquid plays a big part, lot of cheap, thin Chinese liquids out there when you can get the very best of British juices for not much more.

Sadly, from today onwards vendors can no longer offer discounts on multi buys and liquids must come in 10ml bottles with a max strength of 20mg. Sad day for vaping as we've known it and quite a few juice makers have either closed their doors week or are going nicotine free (add your own). A very committed few have subjected themselves and their liquids to full TPD compliance at considerable cost to their business, many just couldn't afford to do it - but vaping as we know it has changed from today on.

Has anyone been in a vaping shop since these new rules came into effect ? Can't imagine the one I use has stopped selling 30/60ml bottles of juice, don't think they could afford too with the amount of stock they had.

So set off a fire alarm in a hotel in Luxemborg yesterday evening..... Whoops 😀

So recently upgraded from a mini nautilus to a Smok Alien 220 with the TFV8 Baby tank

Am running it at about 45 W on the X4 coils

Have been using it all week in the hotel room with no issues however for some reason yesterday evening it set of the fire alarm. Within seconds of it going off got a call from the front desk.

Got asked if I was smoking in the room ... I said no ....

They sent someone up and clearly could see the cloud of haze in the room.. Asked what it was ..they said e cig and showed them. Fortunatly they were good about it and just said please don't do it indoors....

Have vaped in plenty of hotel rooms in the last year but never set of the fire alarm... Think I need to be careful with the SMOK....

Cracking piece of kit though... Love it although gets through juice like anything...

I set off a fire alarm in a pub toilet with mine.

Had a wee and a puff, came and sat down, alarm goes off, see the landlord and landlady running in the mens bogs, think, ooops....

Once all had calmed down I went over and owned up as I didn't want them thinking they had a weird alarm fault - they were cool about it but astonished an ecig could set off the alarm as the ceiling is 20ft in the toilet!

Vendors have until May 17th next year to get rid of stock in larger sizes provided it was produced prior to the 19th November - so any liquids made from 20th November onwards must come in 10 ml bottles with a max strength of 20mg/ml.

Went to my shop yesterday, picked up a few 30ml bottles on a Black Friday sale smile

Was chatting to the guy in there and he said they are going to try and loophole the TPD. There is no limit on size of 0 nicotine bottles. So they will sell 90ml of zero nic and 10ml of 20mg. Add them together yourself and you have 100ml of 3mg.

That's a result!! My shop is normally about £2-3 more expensive than online for a £30ml bottle but they do great coffee and have a tasting bar so you can try them before you buy which is nice.

Think I've finally found the device for me - Council of Vapor Wraith squonker...

Temp control, replaceable 18650, relatively small form factor, built well.

Gonna order next week, hopefully it'll finally get me over the loss of my variable voltage billet box - nothing since had come close, but I now won't run a non temp controlled device.

Also need to order a batch of Snake Oil, hoping he's doing the trick of a big bottle of 0 nic with a top up to make 3mg.

Wish I could try before I buy. Would have saved me buying umpteen bottles that have ended up being thrown out mad

Heeelp!! (Please)

I've just got a new quad coil for my TFV8 but every time I put it in it's registering 0 ohms and won't fire, anybody have any idea what I could be doing wrong ?

I've tried many different tanks and mods over the last couple of years and have finally found my perfect setup.

SMOK Alien 220w mod paired with a House of Hybrids Kabuki tank. The tank is a work of art and you can absolutely feel the quality, by far the best mouth to lung tank on the market IMO.

I get 4 days battery use out of the SMOK Alien as well, can't complain!

Only things I can see onlne point to taking the tank apart and cleaning it. So maybe do that, make sure the leads on the coils are seated correctly and that everything is clean.
