Does anyone make their own liquid in here?

I've become fed up at the cost of liquids. I've just ordered enough PG & VG to make myself a litre. Including all other bits and bobs, it came to a shade over £50. Seems like a no brainer.
Yes, been making my own for over a year now.
There are others on here who also make their own.

I strongly considered making my own juice until a mate of mine put me on to http://www.cityoffog.uk/

Their juice is up there with the best quality I've tried and it's only £11 for 100ml. A couple of the flavours I didn't really take to, but most have been excellent and at that price it's no biggie to try a few.

Not really as done a lot of research before I started to make my own as its not something you want to get wrong especially when it comes to measurements the ingredients.
I use eJuice me up Calculator for working up ammounts for recipes.
Buy a box of latex gloves and chuck them away after every mix, tbh once you make your first mix you quickly realise what can be improved the next time to save you time etc.
Good luck.

Get some decent scales and mix by weight, saves a ton of hassle compared to using syringes. I use a envy 500 mini scale and it's great for larger batches, very accurate. I used to use a small pocket scale which was fine for 10ml bottles but I found all my 30/50/100ml bottles tasted weak in flavour, when I checked them side by side with some weights the small scales were way off, so best to invest in some good scales (and a few weights to calibrate them)

Scales:
https://www.ourweigh.co.uk/pocket-mini-scales/NV50...

Weights: (only needs the 500g really to calibrate but handy to have the smaller ones)
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252291341244?redirect=mo...

Nic base from DarkStar, if your going to get into it then it's worth stocking up on nicotine, and store in glass Amber bottles, you can then stick these in the freezer until you need them. They also sell VG & PG.

Concentrates I get from Chefs Flavours, The Juice Cabin and TheEcigshop. Also direct Flavour Art but they're expensive.

10/30/50/100ml LDPE bottles I get from ibotless (cheap!!)

Syringes I get from the juice cabin plus some blunt needles, get a lower gauge one for the VG, then thinner needle each for PG and Nic (if Nic is pg base) I just reuse my syringes after washing them in hot water but stick to the same one for VG, PG and Nic.

Nitrile gloves, cheap on eBay and £1 in Savers for a small box of 10 blue ones.

And kitchen roll....lots wink

Couple on YouTube mate:

^^^^ well worth taking a look at his website, really good.

https://youtu.be/-RdboUVCROs

I use this calculator on ELR:
http://e-liquid-recipes.com/create

The envy scales great, nice and small. There's two types though the 500 and 2000, you need the 500 really as it measures down to 0.01g where the 2000 only goes down to 0.1g it's very sensitive though!! Breath near the thing and it weighs your breath!!

Go on ecigrecipes, think of a flavour you've had which you liked and see if there's a clone.

No need to go mental trying to make sure you've mixed it to 0.001ml correctness.

Here's how I make mine:

Get some large syringes, take the plunger out and tape off the end. Hold them upside down.

120ml syringe, fill to necessary amount of vg and pg. and nic

60ml syringe. Fill with concentrates.
Pour both into a bottle and shake, allow to steep etc.

Now your not going to be mixing to 0.? Of a ml but it's good for ml's. I vape 30ml a day and I assure you if you've put 0.25ml too much in or not enough in of one of the other you won't notice it. (Of course though doing it this way isn't very practical for mixing small batches. Probably looking at maybe 80ml minimum.
It's very quick for mixing up though. I can make 250ml in literally a couple of mins, the fact it's probably not 100% exact each time means the flavours are very consistent as I'm making fairly large mixes.

Newbie to vaping here, wondering what the hell you lot are talking about.

I'm on a Nautilus Mini, battery set between 10 and 12 watts, air flow on the smallest hole and filled 16mg nicotine Premium Tobacco blend.

I'm six weeks off the ciggies, no withdrawals at all and loving it but curious as to whether it could be even better?

Was that a genuine Snapdragon Steve? Im trying to find a v1.5 clone, I'm sure it comes with the bf pin as velocity posts?
Yeah genuine Dave. The V1 came in two versions - dripper or squonker, whereas the v1.5 does both. Asides from that they vape exactly the same; I'm on my third genuine as the flavour is incredible and you dont need mega power for it, sings at 35-45w. FT do a V1 clone that is decent for a tenner. Or my current one is up for sale with upgraded velocity posts and Eden Tip 2 driptip for £60, delivered for Christmas - cost me £110.

Not really - the Nautilus is still pretty much the King for mouth to lung vaping (Can be improved with a nice delrin drip tip though, I find)

I use a Kabuki clone which uses the Nautilus/Triton coils but has a cleaner look and bigger capacity, flavour is pretty damn good too

Cloud chasing side of Vaping is fun and it does feel great but nothing gets rid of the urge to smoke like a decent mouth to lung vape!

I thought the Nautilus X was supposed to be its successor http://www.aspirecig.com/products/tank-series/tank...

It is - doesn't mean it's better though wink It's TPD compliant but for that they've had to change the airflow completely (has to go in, down, u-bend at the bottom then back up) which was the best thing about the nautilus

The triton mini Clapton coils are fantastic, I've just ordered another couple packs, I've tried my old BVC coils in the TM and they're just not doing it for me, worked great in the Nautilus tanks but not as good here (so much for saving money using my old stock!) This tanks great though, it's all I've really used the last few weeks

Could do with a few pointers here! I've got the V8 coil fitted, 110w in TC mode but what's the best tcr to set it to? Never had anything like this before!!! Now banned from using it indoors after 10 mins use!! Do these work better in TC or power mode?

Just stuck some Efest purple 35A in here to try until my new Samsung & LG batteries arrive but it's doing the job (feel high as a kite here on 6mg so need to mix up some 3mg for this one!!) also gulping the juice down!!

I bought myself a Smok Vape pen 22 a few weeks ago to use whilst my battery for my Kanger top box nano (with Cleito aspire on) was charging. I've hardly used my Kanger since.

It's really not bad for a £20 device

Having a mare here with ni200 on the alien, I've got a Gclapton nickel head in my crown tank and just can't get things going. Does anyone know the tcr setting for nickel? Tried 620 but not getting much vapour, I don't think I can bump the power up much on these coils and seem to work best around 35/40w and don't want to put the temp up too high incase it kills the coil. Any ideas? Stuck!
