Someone needs to learn the difference between proverbs and clichés. Trouble is, it's not something that can be taught.

So everybody who does know the difference does so because they discovered it independently and learned it for themselves? Or are some people born with the knowledge?
It's hardly something that one could be born with, so we can discount that possibility. There are lots of things that can't be taught, though.
Get over yourself.

A cliche is just a phrase that has become over familiar or irritating.

Especially if you abbreviate "Lots of Love" afterwards, it just lacks gravitas.

There have been religious wars on and off for hundreds of years biggrin

I bet no-one remembers this, probably because we didn't wade in and get involved (although you could argue the British started it)

People who commence their pontifications about their 'solution' to something that's wrong in the world with "it's perfectly simple..."

No, it's not perfectly simple. Few things are. If it were simple then the problem would already have been fixed.

Exactly. Usually some monumentally stupid solution like 'chuck them all out' or some enormous human rights violation which would only make everything worse. Usually signed off with the word 'simples'.
