It's out with the cowboy, and in with the sophisticated countryside gent. I call it the "Goodwood look" after some similar attire seen sported at the revival - not to mention a lot of the members of the University clay shooting club I used to belong to."

Bow tie related. A bit niche but we've covered almost everything else.

Wearing a bow tie that isn't black
Wearing a clip-on bow tie
Wearing a proper, tie-it-yourself bow tie untied around the neck so that the ends drape down onto the shoulders.

I still don't know if that's serious or a piss take. Does that make me proper council, like, ken.

What? For the majority of (council) folk a bow tie is something you see on the mannequin at Greenwoods when you're looking at hiring a wedding suit, it's not something you'd collect, buy or know how to tie.

Mr Wolf, may I say that you're looking a bit rough in your latest insurance advertisement.

Please do not have me shot for being so bold

I saw a GUY driving a Street KA last week and it was as far away from council as I could imagine. I would say a Street KA is effeminate/borderline poof. Definitely not council. 206CC on the other hand...

Tell us then, when you take a shower, you have a separate wet room? Your driveway, while there might be some rustic pebble or gravel on it, is it concrete underneath? You do have a 30 metre driveway of course? And I'd assume that's a detatched house in it's own land?

There's so much bks on this thread, I cant and dont see it as hamming.

Nah, proper council is when you have one of those hose shower attachment things that goes on the end of the bath taps. That, or just a plastic jug to rinse the shampoo out of your hair.
