Standing in the bath for a shower

Nah, proper council is when you have one of those hose shower attachment things that goes on the end of the bath taps. That, or just a plastic jug to rinse the shampoo out of your hair.
Ah I had one of them. Back in the day. Useless

Dead christmas tree in the front garden.
That reminds me, I really do need to get rid of that tree.
Ours is still on its stand, stood up in the back garden, I paid sixty quid for it, so I intend to get my moneys worth, its still green and it looks awesome next to my Man shed, especially when it snows, as per 2010.

Ours gets cut up by the gardeners and stored with the logs for use next year as kindling for the fires in the house (we have three, but a 55" TV on the wall and DVDs on the bookshelves, although there are a lot more books - no TV in the Drawing Room though).

I'm loving this thread - didn't realise how many council boxes I tick - and that's after a very lucky upbringing and private education. My Father must be so proud, even more so when I inevitably spunk my massive inheritance up the wall on quad bikes and hangers on like that lottery winning fellow a few years back.

(humming Jarvis Cocker to myself whilst typing this)

I'm off to stand in my bath and have a shower.

Tell us then, when you take a shower, you have a separate wet room? Your driveway, while there might be some rustic pebble or gravel on it, is it concrete underneath? You do have a 30 metre driveway of course? And I'd assume that's a detatched house in it's own land?

There's so much bks on this thread, I cant and dont see it as hamming.
You got a problem with 100m drive, no tarmac or concrete thank you we like to hear the gravel under the tyres, entered between 8 feet tall brick pillars, house detached of course, built in local stone standing in just under an acre, 3 en-suite shower rooms and another bathroom then? oh and the 6 acres attached for the horses? triple garage is attached though, what a bummer!

How common.

Brick pillars indeed. Surely one with class has stone, seriously aged by now due to the property passing through generations.

You'll be telling me next you have faux horses heads on top of yr pillars to let everyone know you have an horse, don't you know.

I reckon this thread has gone a bit too far now. Some posts are just plain offensive imho

There's got to be people reading this that are in the firing line and probably feeling a little upset.

I have learned that I am "a bit council" despite not ever having lived in a council house.

I was brought up in a council house which had a cracked window in the front door for oooh about for ever, plus there was never a light bulb in the downstairs bog.

I tick hundreds of boxes here, but it's made me laugh, especially by the posters who are taking offence.

Great stuff!
