What happens if you are 'airside' an an airport - past security, immigration, etc and mingling with passengers who have just arrived from abroad who are yet to pass customs and immigration, if there is a fire?

Is everyone evacuated into a secure 'airside' muster area or will some immigrants be able to enter the country with no checks?
I would hope the threat to human life is considered far more important than a little paperwork, but I hope somebody that knows comes up with the answer.

Would they not just move everyone to the far end of the terminal or out onto the bit where planes park?

Fashion thing. West country cool.

Like London, where men (even real men) have hairstyles, not haircuts.

Are fingernails biodegradable, and if so how long do they take to rot away?

And seeing as they're essentially dead, how come they don't rot on the fingers of these people who never cut them like this:

your body has skin to protect it from the bacteria under your nail and around it getting into its system and an immune system to protect it even further. The nails aren't made of very easilly degradeable material.

How are TV viewing figures calculated? I'm guessing they can't see a hit counter for the number of people currently watching their channel..

Is it an estimate on load from their transmitter or something?

Why is a porno known as a blue movie?
It goes back to something called "Blue Laws" which, IIRC, we introduced in the US in the 17 or 1800s as a means to control puritan behaviour. They still apply in some southern States today - things like not trading on Sunday, etc.

It kind of evolved from their.

Finger nails and hair are made from Keratin which isn't a very degradable material at all, it's also found in your skin and all sorts of other animals. I don't knw why it doesn't rot though

They turn into intergalatic parking wardens.

This was answered a while back in this thread - something to do with the noise level the bin makes when dragged along the pavement IIRC.

If you were given a blood transfusion with the wrong blood type, would it kill you? Would you die in excruciating agony or just get ill and keel over?

Oh, and the answer is you'd die quickly. The different blood is poison. Your antibodies would attack it and probably turn your blood to mushy goo.

In the Just for Men advert starring Figo and other Portuguese footballers, how did they get them not to collapse to the ground in agony for the whole duration of the ad?
