Dick Winters (Band of Brothers leader) dies

Dick Winters, the hugely brave and inspirational leader of Easy Company, featured in Band of Brothers, has died aged 93. Sad, but a good innings nonetheless.

Great shame for a true hero. Great that Ambrose immortalised just what he and his colleagues did - let's not forget all the others of a similar ilk as well!
