Glorious all day down here on the IOW. Not a cloud in the sky all day and 10 degrees C. Just dragged the labrador back off the beach after an hour's swim. Not lit the BBQ yet though. smile

I was just thinking yesterday it was time I ordered a new BBQ. I got my decking finished late last year but never treated it to a BBQ.

Anyone have any opinions of what to get? I have seen an outback dual fuel combi one. Does anyone else make dual fuel efforts?

This is your chance to show off your BBQ kit. biggrin

What have the met office forecast? The following forecast ajustment recommendations come in handy with them

Hottest summer on record = cold, wet and miserable

A wet and cold summer with high risk of flooding = heat wave and droughts

Who needs sunshine? I've been BBQing all Winter biggrin Only a couple of burgers here, but it was a quick half time footy snack for me and a mate.

Does anyone know how an alloy wheel would stand up to duties as a travel BBQ? I was thinking nurburgring 24. Clearly it won't be suitable for using on a car after, but what temp would the metal tolerate? I don't want it to melt!!

Opinions gents?

Shouldn't imagine too well, why not buy a bucket of fire for that kind of thing? Works well for Le-mans.

It is said that in Ancient Times there was a golden ball of fire in the sky called "Sun" that gave warmth to the Earth. However extremist cults (most prominent are known to be the warmists and environmentalists) seduced by money and wealth became tired of the warmth and bountiful harvests of food that lead to better qualities of life for everyone, and so they started sacrificing the lives of the elderly to the Gods of Snow in order to make everyone suffer.

Prophets tell of a resistance that will one day rise up and fight for Sun and exterminate the treacherous scum in our midst, but the morbid tendrils of Warmism have taken root and infest every sector of society making the fight a suicide mission as seen in the sacrifice of Lord Bellamy who was crucified by the BBC.

I think that explains it tongue out

Yesterday was lovely, reasonably cold out of the sun, but lovely!

Cloudy and cold today.

Hate this weather.

The father-in-law always goes for a steel wheel, one from a Mercedes van does the job very nicely!!
