Glorious all day down here on the IOW. Not a cloud in the sky all day and 10 degrees C. Just dragged the labrador back off the beach after an hour's swim. Not lit the BBQ yet though.

I was just thinking yesterday it was time I ordered a new BBQ. I got my decking finished late last year but never treated it to a BBQ.

Anyone have any opinions of what to get? I have seen an outback dual fuel combi one. Does anyone else make dual fuel efforts?

Who needs sunshine? I've been BBQing all Winter Only a couple of burgers here, but it was a quick half time footy snack for me and a mate.

Does anyone know how an alloy wheel would stand up to duties as a travel BBQ? I was thinking nurburgring 24. Clearly it won't be suitable for using on a car after, but what temp would the metal tolerate? I don't want it to melt!!

Opinions gents?

Shouldn't imagine too well, why not buy a bucket of fire for that kind of thing? Works well for Le-mans.

The father-in-law always goes for a steel wheel, one from a Mercedes van does the job very nicely!!
