what do you do on your days off
Discussion
And how old are you?
I seem to be losing more friends the older i get and i no longer have friends who like to go out for a good old pissup on the weekends. I find on my days off i have nothing to do except go to the shop, gardening or the gym. It depresses me that i seem to live such a boring life at 25 but people are just drifting further away the older we all get.
Help, and i have a girlfriend and do stuff with her and my mate comes round a couple of times a week but apart from that i seem to havd nothing to do and im getting bored.
Id like something to do where maybe i could meet people aswell.

Seeing as the weather is getting nicer, go for a drive?
Im 19 and I work four on, four off. My age helps as I have mates who are willing to go and get pissed on a Tuesday afternoon at the drop of a hat!
Fitness is also a good way to pass the time on your days off. Cycle/ Swim/ Weights etc.

I'm 24,
Typically play golf one morning with a few friends or brothers (see other people up the club also) and spend the rest of my time either out with the GF or studying (CFA). May go for a cycle in the morning though!
Piss-ups with mates are fairly regular but more often on a Wed/Thur evening.

27 years old, still feeling young.
Spare time, well its either spent eating out 3-4 nights a week with friends, playing with Landrovers, helping build drift cars, or a social night with a few drinks, normally around mine.
The games console is gathering dust, and has been for a year now, found more to life spending time with friends, that glued to the big flashy box in the living room

Take up a new activity/sport that gets you outside or meeting people. I've made loads of friends through running clubs/groups for example.
Running club looks like a good idea, is your first time quite daunting? Once i know someone i can talk a lot but a bit nervous initiating anything.Running and cycling clubs are brilliant.
Every day there's something happening, and if it's weekend it's usually pub atop after.
I'm 24, and today i woke up late, ran 15 miles, chilling by TV now and going out for a meal with missus and her mates for a birthday tonight.
Tommorow will be 6 mile run, potentially overtime, drive car, have mum round for tea, and then chill by TV.
Would love more time if anything for cycling, seeing family and friends more (missed a all day pissup today as I'm in brum at her parents houses)
