What's the best tip you've ever had?

Now I know that the bulk of PH would ever be employed in a job as menial enough to warrant tipping, but this thread got me thinking:

I have in the past, been employed in jobs that a tip was very welcome.
My best, was taxi driving, and the fare was a couple of women who'd been out with friends for the night.
Long story short and all that, but I ran around, dropping off their friends, until the last passenger. She was in drink, but not heavily, or badly, and had been discussing a business proposal from her boyfriend, with her friends. Privvy to a lot of private stuff, I'd heard most of the gist while running around. The lady wanted to smoke. I explained that wasn't possible, so she asked if we could stop (near the beach), so she could light up. I said that was fine, but I would have to leave the meter running.
She lit up, and offered me one (I smoked at the time, so accepted).
She asked my opinion.
I am courteous, and discrete, so declined, but she insisted. I am also honest, so I told her my opinion was worth nothing, and one she might not like. She insisted again, so I gave it to her.
Her boyfriend was a , no two ways about it, and was likely going to stick her name on some big debts if things went south.
She made up her mind, I could see the moment it dawned on her.
She tipped me £200 in twenties. I protested, she would have none of it. I took it, and also got the office to keep her details for me, so I could return it next day.
She needed another cab the following day, and requested me. I was glad, and apologised for being so honest with her, and told her about how much she'd tipped me.
She knew, and it wasn't a problem, she had been happy to hear an honest unbiased opinion.
Again, long story, but it saved her tens/hundreds of K.
:-)
The tip doesn't need to have been monetary to count.

Working on large charter yachts brings some pretty amazing tips from the guests. When yachts cost £35k to £75k a day, the crew gets about 10 to 20% on top as a tip. I've also received nice gifts like handmade shoes, bottles of Port and nice cigars.
One Arab gent saw that I wear specs and offered to fly me on his jet to San Francisco to have my eyes lasered by his own surgeon. I foolishly declined.

Tip in monetary terms. I worked for an arab family for a couple of years, tips of £50 - £500 were quite common and when they went home at the end of each summer you would get anything up to £3000.
Alway a nice little bonus.
Tip as in advice - It's much better to have a sit down fart than a stand up st.
