Is it bigamy?

OK, maybe the PH massive can settle this discussion:-
In the series 'Goodnight sweetheart' (Yeah OK, I know) Gary was a time traveller who flipped between the 1940's and the present day.
He had a wife in each time zone!
Does this make him a bigamist?
My argument is that to commit bigamy you have to be married to both women at the same time, his two wives were 50+ years apart!

The past one could conceivably still have been alive in the present day so yes it was bigamy.

But he married the present day one first!

I never heard the present day wife being his grandaughter thing!
