On account of the weather and the fact that i've nearly gone A over T a few times already i spotted these on the bay and think i might get a pair, just for knocking about in really..

For when wellies would be a bit OTT and normal shoes not quite enough...

Most of my shoes are leather soled so are pretty lethal when there is snow/slush/ice.

Anybody got a pair of these kind of leather wellie jobs?

Dubarry every time... Yes they are allot but looked after they will last a lifetime, my Dad has a pair that are nearly 20 years old and look no different to mine which are 5!
Great boot but only on ladies.
Nah sorry but they look cracking http://www.dubarryboots.com/product/13 with a pair of jeans a Viyella shirt is a pretty smart look IMHO..

A Viyella shirt? redface

Please - not on anyone aged less than 60.
Well I get the sentiment I do think they are pretty nice and I am only 35 but I do of an occasion go with one and my Barbour!

It to me is a very quintessential English look and while I know it is not so fashionable I actually like that and I even have the dopey black lab to go with!

^^ I have a pair of Loakes with a rubber welted sole, which have been perfect lately
I did look at some chunky (not spacker chunky) Chelsea boots in town on saturday, they had welted rubber soles which weren't too thick.

(i have a thing about shoes.....sorry)
