Flex Wheeler for symmetry/balance and Mike Mentzer for old skool mass. I'd quite happily be one of those guys for a couple of days.

I don't think Mentzer's looking too good these days!

Oh yeah.

Even when we go out for dinner, he will have the boiled rice rather that egg fried rice, or steak and salad, no potatoes.

Only drinks vodka, lime and soda.

Takes discipline.

My little brother who I used to boss about!

Not so much now...biggrin

I guess this is also a big part of the question. Where do you draw the line with discipline. I go through phases of being pretty good then pigouts, usually when it's colder. Have started to make some permanent modifications to diet though, especially turning forty. No fizzy sugar drinks, no sugar in tea and no food after 8pm. Hasn't improved me but has stopped me getting any worse!

I'm 5ft 8.5in and realistically, if I can get to 12 stone dead I'll be happy. according to BMI I'll still be just on the borderline of obese, however, BMI clearly wasnt designed for people with a naturally stout physique.

Worst I've seen him eat is a KFC fillet burger with no mayo.

Or a roast at our mums.

We can't say no to them!

Ha! Home cooking is everyone's weakness smile

I heard the models on there are told to cough as the pic is being taken to get the tone shot. This may be bks though.

It's bks.

For a cover, he will have countless photos taken, of which one will be used.

He doesn't cough 50 odd times!

At that level, they have the tone without nonsense like that.

I am currently staring at Mrs plumbers sausage and bacon crusty roll which she couldn't finish, I just had two salmon fillets with two stuffed peppers (mozzerella, mushrooms, chillis) and loads of lettuce. I wont break, I've been this strict since march. I've lost 4 stone of fat and can see a lot of muscle definition appearing.

I just want to have a cut physique, don't want to be huge. I'm 5'9 13.5 stone.

Quite happy at the moment 5ft 8 1/2, 13.3 stone with my body fat between 11 - 12% I've tried to get my body fat down under 10% but it's proving difficult my diet is hit and miss.

Manual labour job + good gym training = success for me.

After my contributions to the dirty takeaway thread, everyone assumes I'm huge or fat.

Neither is true.

I'm 6' and 77 kilos. An athletic build.

Olympic swimmers have the best physique IMO.

I have huge Chinese's on occasion (see above thread) but eat sensibly the rest of the time. I eat a lot of sushi too. Need to start working out a bit more though. For tone, not mass.

Can't let yourself go when your little brother looks like this...

Fairly easy for you - just wear all of your G-shocks at the same time all of the time.

Surely the right size is the size that allows you to do what you want?

For me, skinny and lean is right as I want to be able to compete in distance running. The target (competitive performance in races) dictates the body shape. The body shape itself isn't a target (thankfully! hehe).
