Have you tried eating loads of mars bars as a cure for your bad eyesight?

It won't actually cure the problem but I believe diabetics get laser eye surgery for free, so it's worth a go. . . . . .

Has anyone here tried Conductive keratoplasty for sight correction ?

Something I have considered as it is less invasive and seems more suitable for longsighted folks like me.

I can do it for a tenner if you want

I've got a rusty razor blade and a lazer pointer

How hard can it be??

Or maybe you shouldn't be choosing entirely on price

I wouldn't get mine done anywhere other than Moorfields Eye Hospital - that's where you get sent when your cheap high street job goes wrong

Most people who need permanently corrected vision are short sighted.

Most short sighted people also have astigmatism.

Laser eye surgery cannot correct astigmatism so you may as well go for some nice comfortable toric lenses.
You sure? I had mine done (LASIK) about 8 years ago at Ultralase in Leeds. They cured my astigmatism and short sightedness.

I was long sighted with astigmatism (prescription in the mid 5's) and have been corrected with wavefront Lasik for £3200 for both eyes.
