Sorry for lack up updates, currently half way through week 7.
Total weight loss to date as of this morning is 24lbs from 212 to 188.
I've lost around 8% body fat down to 20.something%.
I've lost around 6 inches from my waist & made massive strength gains across the board.
Here is a photo of me (awaits PH ribbing).
Furthest left is my start photo, middle photo is week 5sh & the right hand photo is a photo from last night.
Sorry for the really poor paint skills!

Right, well, excuse me for not staring too carefully at the pattern and colour of your boxers.

I was busy staring at your bulge.

Bit of an update as of late i've been slacking off (compltely forgotten about the thread)!
I'm now weighing in at 180lbs (32lbs off in total).
Bodyfat is also down to a much more respectable 18%.
I have 3 weeks left as of Sunday, although i've enjoyed it to a certain extent i won't miss the early morning cardio every day!
I would also do things that would get me put in prison for something as simple as a ham sandwich!

Great job! Mind you, to lose that much in such a short time, I'd be worried that it's too much, too quickly.

Why on earth wouldn't you eat a ham sandwich, Lawrence??!!
Go on..... wink

So a bit of an update...
I finish on Friday, at the last weigh in i weighed 3st lighter which was what my target weight was set at.
My body fat is also now at 14%.
When my final photo's are done on Friday i'll upload a start & finish so you can see the difference.
It's been hard, but i'm glad i've completed it, i intend to enjoy myself for a week or so & then go back to a more normal training regime!

hi lawrence.

would you mind posting up or pm-ing me the diet you followed and an overview of the weight sessions?

your 'before' pic and lifestyle rings v true with me. 6'1 and 15+ stone. i play 90mins of 5-a side each wednesday and just signed up for a month of corefit classes but the hard part for me has always been diet [can;t remember the last time i cooked] and the beers.

i'm having a blowout on friday [brunch, dubai style!] and then taking a few months off the sauce to get fit. i think what you've achieved in 3mths is fantastic and i would like to be the same in july!

Pre-breakfast cardio for 30mins, so get up, on the stepper (aerobic step, not stair climber) or the cross trainer for 30mins.
Then post dinner cardio for 30mins, again on the stepper (areobic step, not stair climer) or the cross trainer for 30mins.

Shirt.

Will PM you, i'll warn you though, it's bloody boring!

Thanks smile

I had to keep the tattoo's otherwise nobody would believe i'd actually completed it!
It just proved anyone can do it as i'm the laziest of people when it comes to exercise...
However i'm also incredibly stubborn & once i've decided i'm doing something i will do it, i had a lot of people tell me i wouldnt complete it / or would fail knowing what i was like & it was just fuel for me to complete it!

Well done Lawrence!

So now is not the time to go back to where you were before so what is your next goal? I always find setting goals and then moving onto the next goal is critical to continue upwards progress.

My goal is to maintain / build a bit of muscle, the end photo was after water depletion so i put a certain amount of it back on again.
Then took a week off the gym, to re-evaluate, i started back again though on Monday & will be training 4 days a week again like before, i don't want the gut back again so it's maintenace really more than anything

Give yourself challenges like to lift heavier. Personal Bests are satisfying to attain even if the weights you're throwing about might be less than warm up weights for some on here.

Yesterday, I did a power snatch with a 30kg dumbbell - a year ago, I could barely lift 5kg over my head due to a shoulder injury. I'm pleased... but knackered. biggrin
