You cynic you...
Not a cynic. I remain open-minded until official sources (which include government organisations and universities and does not include David Icke) acknowledge/admit things. And this is not the thread for it. If others come in, this thread will be ruined with conspiracy theorists (or whatever you want to call yourselves) and non-believers (or people who are paid by the government to tell you that you're wrong evil ) arguing until this thread is locked.

Please start a thread elsewhere.

Just remember to pluck the feathers first, unless you're after more roughage in your transforming diet.

Ah, I'm back... that feels better. I'd come over all weird there for a while.

Friday i had the worse workout by far this year chest and tri day normally my fav day :-(

Couldnt shift any weight at all my shoulder was killing. I thought it was because i did a extra circuit class last week which had more weights included. However thinking about it i think i might be getting the pain because id been trying to do more freestyle swimming. Ive had it before and and it possibly when i was trying the same thing out so Im going to test this out this week and see what happens.

Had a day off the gym yesterday but went out on my bike. Note to self - Mud and water cover holes up quite well, when half your front wheel goes into the hole the bike doesnt come out and you go over the handlebars = superman mud dive

Was funny unti i realised i had to put myself and the bike in the car grrrrrrrrrrrrr

About time I updated this with some progress. Between the start and Xmas I didn't really achieve a lot, if anything I out on a bit of weight and hit 90kg. Since the new year I've been hitting the diet a lot harder and am now well into my marathon training.

I'm now weighing in at 85kg which was my target for my first race which is 23rd February. My next target is 80kg by the 24th March, and then 75kg by the 26th May.

I'll update with pictures at some point and hopefully the good progress will continue.

I'm stuck in a hotel in Portugal for 4 days this week. They have a pretty st gym which I'm making use of, as anything's better than nothing. But by god the food, it just keeps coming, I'm going to have to hit it hard when I get back to the UK.
Am going to try and keep the diet clean from Sunday through till the end of March, will be difficult but the results should make up for it.
Right coffee and biscuits are out....brb

Maybe he's on a BDSM(sp?) holiday. He's allowed to go to the gym on a chain and his fingers are banged between machine weights while he begs Mistress for more. Putting the "club" into Club 18-30.

Just wondering... given my previous state before the first Transformation challenge, if I hadn't bothered dieting and just trained hard (which I've been doing throughout 2012 anyway), how would my body have changed? Perhaps I would have achieved what I'm looking for but not have experienced muscle loss on the way, leaving the muscle/training to burn the fat rather than actively looking at reducing it? (I was ~20% BF before we began this.)

I need a guinea pig.

I went on a mad bulk last winter and spent most of the summer trying to get rid of the fat which in turn stripped muscle too. This winter I have tried to be smart with what im eating and when and the results have been fantastic. My body fat has not gone up a huge amount and ive definitely made gains. Im probably going to carry on this kind of diet for the rest of the year and slowly put on muscle. Im in no hurry as I love training biggrin

I probably have about 200/300 cals more on a training day then required but less on non training days.

You need to be your own guinea pig!

The slowest and most difficult thing is gaining muscle. I've been higher than I like in fat levels for all of last year to gain muscle but you need to build the base before getting super lean.
I can't be my own guinea pig. That would mean cutting all training and eating back to >20% BF.

This is what I'm doing - sounds like I'm about 3 months behind you in terms of training as I've only just changed things around. I notice my shoulders are regrowing as are my legs.

As long as your growing that's the main thing.

Now I've upped my calories I've noticed I've changed the muscles seem to be fuller maybe slightly bigger. Lifts have all gone up apart from my rubbish session last Friday. It would be great to get bigger but I don't want to be fatter than I already am.
