Why? Partial reps, forced reps, static holds, isometrics...all are ok to hit the muscle in a different way.

Axle strict press
90kg 5x3, 1x6 (got quad cramp bizarrely so had to stop), 1x10 rep PB.

115lb Incline dumbbell press x14 rep PB.

I'm feeling so good at the moment, I keep saying it but it's great to feel this way biggrin

Overhead PB will be attempted on my birthday in February smile

Your pressing and deads are awesome fella. You push press the 140 a damned sight easier than I can do 80. Might have to give your channel a bit of a follow for inspiration.

The volume plus the weight is starting to get hard to handle. That combined with feeling a little under the weather meant I cut today's short, halving my deadlift volume and cutting out accessory work. One more week with +5kg then the volume drops with an increased load... it will be a welcome change!

Squats 6 x 5 at 190kg

Deadlifts 3 x 5 at 220kg

Thanks biggrin
With an end goal of getting to world's strongest man, I need to be pushing big weights to get there!
I imagine I'm a fair chunk heavier that you too which helps to a degree!

Yesterday - 90km on the bike, proper leg burner, followed by pull ups and dips in the evening. Today - 40km on the bike with a 15 minute balls out effort in the middle of the session. Almost made me cry. Went to the gym this afternoon, really good session - back and chest. Lots of heavy rows for the back and a 140kg bench for four reps, which is a PR.

Thought I'd have a mess about today and did Deadlifts, Power Cleans and Clean and Press.

I got to 190kg on Deadlift, although I think form went to pot as it was a messy lift!

Also did an 85kg Clean and Press.

Yeah. Hammer Strength with plates for the first, cable stack the second.

Is it harder to shift the same weight on the cable?
