My OH has been suffering with this for a couple of weeks now. She just feels really rough with a dull headache, fever, breathless when climbing the stairs, diarrhoea and nausea. And a hacking cough which, when it gets hold of her in the night means no sleep for either of us. She did test positive for COVID last week too!

She is taking flu relief but they aren't shifting it. Is it just a case of letting it pass?

Now my eighth week of feeling ste with heavy cold symptoms. Had tried to get a hold of my doctor at the end of last week, but I could never get an appointment. Used the DigitalGP through my works healthcare last night and have a course of antibiotics to start today.

At this point I don't feel any more ill than what I have, but the strain on my mind of being perpetually ill for this long has really taken its toll.

I'm into my 7th week. Managed to get an GP appointment for Thursday due to it being on my chest, and causing a bit of pain.

I'm ill at the moment and wonder if it's covid. I've also got the insatiable hunger. Walked to the shop earlier to get more food as I was running out from eating so much. Not got the endless sleep though.

Haven't got a covid test and CBA to buy one as it changes nothing.

I had tonsilitus last week after RTI and then the sinus infections and blocked ears.

I had to go and sort this at the doctors so got prescribed penicillin and it cleared up in a few days.

It's the first time ive seen ulcers on my tonsils, they were ridiculously swollen.

I still feel blocked on the ear, this im going to keep leaving until the NY, I'm fortunate enough to not need to listen or at least know when to look like I'm listening as im not in the office anymore so it's not urgent.

I've hardly coughed at all - unless it was sneezing. Left mid/lower rib pain. Like someone heavy rolled over me in Judo.

frown Hope y'll get well soon. The only consolation I suppose is think how much worse you'd be suffering if you'd not had all your covid and flu vaccinations to protect you from the lurgey. With them at least you are still well enough to use the internet etc.

Just ignore him, he’s one of those who lives 20 miles down a rabbit hole and it’s all “their” fault and “they” are out to control us all. I think he truly believes nobody ever gets ill ever and if you do now, it’s because you got 5G nanobots injected into you. They completely miss the fact that they’re actually the virus infecting every and any thread where health gets discussed.

confused What on earth are you babbling on about? Are you feeling okay? Surely being up to date with all the available vaccinations gives you the best protection against the lurgeys so for those who have had them, they would be a lot worse without them.

You’re a Covid obsessive and a regular contributor to that cesspit. Few other people who are having serious discussions about their own health need to read your nonsense.

I occasionally chime in with a sarcastic comment usually in response to the frankly absurd claims made by regular contributors in other threads - none of which make me a "Covid obsessive". I would argue that the "covid obsessives" are those who claim that covid is long since over and have moved on, yet spend all their time in the various threads talking about it confused

Anyway, this thread isn't about Covid. If you wish to discuss or debate that then there are other threads available for you to do just that so rather than following me around and stalking me how about you jog on?

Yeah let's not talk about Covid despite sufferers of the "latest awful lurgey" most likely having Covid. rolleyes
