Mine loved their grobags big time.

Infact at 12 years old my eldest still attempts to fit into her largest one we still have, and she can just about!

Well, swimming today didn't make him sleep immediately, but he slept from 2-3.30 - let's hope it doesn't ruin tonight's sleep as he's started to go back to a 7am (ish) wake up!

Not sure if trying to keep him warm or starting weaning has done the trick, either way both can easily be kept up smile

Anyone have any idea when they stop drooling enough to fill a lake?!!

That did occur to me....
Daddy's woken up with aching joints and had hot and cold flushes last night, I have a sore throat and snuffles. Kiddo seems fine so far......

we've gone back to being got up around 9 times a night, he's not been too chipper since his second set of jabs last Thursday.

Was hoping to take him swimming but been advised to hold fire until his 16 week jabs because of the high number of whooping cough about and with him having meningitis at 1 week old to not risk it. He does love a deep bath to splash about in though and has a really good kick action.

About to order some dribble bibs as he's soaking his normal bibs, sort of reminds me of Alien at times when he's really drooly hehe

I need more of those bibbles, currently rotating 3-4 a day as they get so wet and I don't want them running/freezing against his neck.

Defo Alien drool amounts, or Slimer maybe? smile

I heard running Vaseline on their necks as a barrier for dribble rash

My brain seems to have forgotten how to come up with sensible, and fairly common sense, ideas such as that!

There will be days when you might go through 4 or 5 bibs in a morning. My little one has dribbled while awake since about 3 months.

Get more bibs before there is a sore neck or chin. Also the cute bandana ones often keep the wet material on the chin, making in red/sore.

Charlie was awake all day yesterday bar 2 x1 hour naps... However he slept from 8pm til 6am (I woke him up) didn't even wake for a feed! I know that it won't happen again tonight but it was nice to get uninterrupted sleep hehe

join the club. He's learnt who to roll over so that's the new trick at night when trying to get him asleep and settle in bed

At 8 weeks we are going backwards in terms of the babies sleeping through the night. A few days ago both twins left their usual 10pm, 4am, 7am feed routines and introduced a 2am feed. It's killing my wife. Anybody else had this?

Some notes - Gripe water and Tommy Tippee ant-colic bottles (the expensive ones) are working wonders for gas. It's not bad enough to be called colic and we don't suspect reflux. We also moved them into their own room which has taken the pressure off somehow.

Are they definitely hungry? Although it is growth spurt time at 8 and 12 weeks..... Other reasons Michael used to wake were temperature or lost covers.

Feeding rather than comfort calms them down so I suspect growth spurt as well. I don't think it's temperature because it's so regular.

I just arranged for a nurse to stay over tonight. We've avoided help until now.

With twins! I'd be screaming for help from the word go, found it hard enough with one.

For everyone else, back to weaning, can you believe Michael turned his nose up to scrambled egg but loves beet root. Who knew! :S

Does the beetroot make his wee a different colour?

We had our first night last night of Noah only getting me up at 4.10am after his 11.00pm feed. He slept then until 7.10am when I went in to check him. Otherwise we still do the 11.00pm, 2am, 4am and usually ready to get up at 6am, with anything in between ranging from every 10 - 20 minutes. His getting on to his tummy doesn't help as he shouts for me to turn him back over.

Needless to say he's had boundless energy today from having lots of sleep, lord knows what he'll be like when he's crawling hehe

Wee - not yet. Poo however...... redface

I'm looking forward to the first rolls, we can stand against the sofa (okay so more of a leaning on....) and almost sit up without falling sideways!

He's zonked currently, will have to wake him for dinner at half past if he doesn wake - don't want to chance it disturbing his sleep.
