So, I managed to get a bit too hot on holiday and now my sweat glands under my pits are blocked and are giving me a bit of jip. Being a clever fella I got the hair trimmer out and gave them a quick number three thinking it would help cool them down but I'm not sure if it will be beneficial or not.

So, is there any benefit in trimming your pits in a hot climate or is it a bit ghey?

Mine get to the point I could plait them, so a bit of a trim every few weeks keeps them under control.

It's something I think about as I wear wife beaters in the gym. But as I do lunges with no pants on, people are too busy staring in disbelief at my genitalia to notice my hairy pits.

I don't want to ask what's wrong with your genitalia to cause that many stares... wink

My armpit hair is fine, don't shave it. Could do with a trim down *cough* though.

As a result of my treatment of Hodgkins Lymphoma many years ago I have the smoothest pits you could ever imagine & have been the envy of many a girlfriend. I thought it odd that it never showed the slightest intention of growing back, but the hair on my head didn't either. Some say unlucky, I say small price to pay for still being around thumbup

I have never trimmed my pit's and they seemed to plateau at a certain length, although I did shave my chest that took my life to grow, and in about 3-4 months it grew to the same length as a life time took....my pubes are the same for plateauing on a certain length too.... but i do trim them time to time.........

A 0 every 10 days or so. Nowt wrong with that.

Plenty of men into grooming these days, and most women approve. smile

Something that's never occurred to me.

Always kind of assumed blokes had hairy armpits.

You ghey brah?

joking aside, I shaved it once and it was nasty as hell, it got more sweaty and also lots of funky sticky residue.

Agree with this tbh.. I give them a little trim, not really any setting on the trimmer, just until it's short enough.

Found I sweat less now it's trimmed.
