I have an older friend, who is in her mid 50's. She has recently started getting tingling sensations in her hands and feet, dizziness, very slightly blurred vision in the mornings, and the soles of her feet and 'under her finger nails' feel unusually tender. No pins and needles, just tingling. Walking around doesnt alleviate this tingling. She also feels rather drained and out of energy.

I'm not very clued up on symptoms. Sounds a bit like diabetes, perhaps? She's a vegetarian. Other than visiting the doc, which is on the cards, any ideas what condition this might actually be? It sounds like it could be a whole range of things...

Yep - could be a huge range of things, varying from orthopaedic to neurological. Best bet is a visit to her GP for some investigations. Could be the result of back problems, or peripheral neuropathy, panic attacks, B12 deficiency - loads of stuff. Needs looking at....

Interesting assortment of possibilities, thanks. Theres nothing else to say really, other than recommend she gets down to see a doc. For blood tests Id guess.
