some time ago (around 1st feb 2012 looking at the scanned form info) I had a general checkup. My local gp had written to me - I assume I am in some kind of target group the nhs is doing general checkups on. So went in, had weight height etc taken and noted, and got given a form to go and have some kind of blood test done (just standard not cos there was anything wrong with me).

I scanned the form so I would know what was being checked before I went.

Now as is the way with the nhs I've heard nothing since, so for all I know I'm at imminent risk of a heart attack, who knows biggrin The thing is, I'm actually interested in the results for my liver, since I drink too much (alcohol), and am currently trying to stop drinking. I am in general good health so I don't think there would be any other issues, but anyway, what can I ask specifically regarding the results of the blood test for my liver? Can I get a copy of the results? (I'm sure the doc will just tell me I'm fine and I've got nothing to worry about), but I'd like to know in a bit more details if you know what I mean.

Here's the form showing what was going to be tested re the blood test. You can see the liver bit on the top left. I've no idea what 'GRR' is under 'Other Tests please specify'.
