I've been using these Philips for the last few years. Recommended them to a few colleagues a few months ago and they've been happy with them too.
Ta! I'll check out prices in the high street later today. On another totally unrelated topic. Happy 100th month at PH for me! More than 8 years on and I'm still here...
Short update. Unfortunately since Gibraltar never has anything in stock, the Philips wasn't available but the chap there recommended a remington trimmer.
It was the same price at £40 plus it charges through a USB port which I thought could be handy when travelling.
Saying that, the reviews are pretty damn poor and I'm tempted to return it on that basis. The moment I open the box, I'm stuck with it.
Any one else here use a one of these Remington Touch beard trimmers?

Last night I used my Remington Touch beard trimmer. I actually have no idea why it has such a bad review since it worked brilliantly.
There was absolutely no pulling and left very few stray hairs to cut with scissors. The micro-adjustment was also very good and although people say the clips holding the attachment in place are very flimsy, they're obviously "doing it wrong" if they are pushing that hard against their face with the trimmer!
The trimmer itself has three speed settings and best of all, I can charge it on the go with any micro-USB cable. That makes it a winner while travelling!
