So it's happening more frequently now... I'm standing up, stretching, then feeling like Ewan McGregor looks after shooting up in Trainspotting.

I know this is common to everyone, but what exactly causes it to become so extreme? I'm 29, healthy and a non-smoker.

Or am I just being a bit of a puff about it?

Cheers for the replies : )

I stopped drinking recently, I've dropped a little weight, and I'm training much harder now - without sounding like a cock, I'm reasonably fit.

I suspected low blood pressure, but possibly also a large calorie deficit also... I'd read that can cause these things.

Also, I only do smack after dark.

I have been slightly dehydrated, but not much. After years of running I am reasonably well tuned to how hydrated I am - piss has been fine recently.

If it's any help I'm 6'3", lean, fit and after running for eg if I sit down for 2 minutes and then stand up I invariably have to crouch or lie down on the floor to avoid falling over. This can go on for an hour or two afterwards.

Also happens in the gym after squats, deadlifts etc

Have had all the heart checks etc and no problems.

How tall are you?
I'm a titchy 5'11.
