What the hell causes these b
ds and how do you get rid?!
Have had a horrible round white ulcer inside my lower lip (just where my teeth rub every time I move my mouth) for a week now and no amount of Bonjela (crap) seems to help.
Had small, non-painful ones before that have just gone within a few days but never a hanger-oner like this. Just won't go away.
Any tips? Magic potions? Going to get some Anbesol today as been told this is a better pain-reliever than Bonjela.

but I bite them off. Your mouth heals crazily quickly so you once you've bitten it off it doesnt take long for the pain to stop and for it to heal.
So I still have it and I was advised to by something called Igloo from Boots - you rub a bit on and it drys to form a barrier, while numbing the pain.
It seems to work ok, although I find it also ends up numbing the gum where the lip meets the gumline which feels a bit weird!
If it is not gone in the next week I will go to GP.
