How do all e doctors

I can stand one legged on it no problem

But when I get up from sitting down I get lots of pain on the inner side of my left knee
Where thigh meets Top of shin bone.
For the first few steps it might as well not be there
Then when I get into a stride I'm fine
Aches occasionally but not all the time had it for two weeks
Seem to go but then come back

Tried a tubI grip but they just roll down
I don't recall doing anything to it. Though fairly corpulent I have a desk job
Train a junior footy team walk the dog spot on bp not been to the doctors in ages
Age 45 gsoh etc

Will make an appt but just wondering. What it is before I go

Good site
Cheers

More I think about it more I thinks it's an mcl sprain
Or meniscus tear
I was walking the dog a couple of Sunday's ago in the hills.
There had been a fell run earlier and the trsck was full of little fellow flags to mark the way

A couple of miles further on there's a sort of crag gulley and some of the small rocks jut out a couple of feet down a steep but narrow water formed gully
The corners of the rock were muddy because of the race they looked fairly dry as it was sunny
and while I was coming down I slipped but instead of slipping with my leg under me it got over straightened. So instead of it being like. A 12-6 position on the clock it went to a 12-7 position if that makes sense
Stopped in my tracks hurt a bit. Did a wiggle and carried on
I have ordered a brace off web
Internet says r i c e.
Just going to jump in exercise bike see if it eases it up

Well
I got a brace off eBay just to support it
I had it on for a day. But it really hurt the back of my knee being too tight . On my hamstrings
So I took it off. One thing it did do is stop you moving you leg while at work or resting at home so from that point of view it was quite useful
But it hurt the back of my knee for a day after

Anyway I think the resting of it did the trick and he felled proselytism 75 percent now.
I went on my rower for a bit earlier and it was stiff but soon settled into a rhythm after a minute or two
