Any plans on how to deal with the blank game week? Free hit seems as waste for these fixtures - have seven players playing and thinking take a minus 4 to get 2 more in?
I'm saving the Free Hit, may take a -4 or -8 to have 8 or 9 players, will leave it till the last minute to make sure there's no injuries to cope with.68 points for me - an almost bang average week was rendered slightly better by the auto sub of Foden (nil points) for Porro (11 points). All my defenders and midfielders returned, nothing from the keeper (Kelleher) or the forwards (Jackson and Solanke). Still not great, but better than it could have been.
My plan now is to roll the dice and go against the template strategy and WC this week to then BB in 34. I'd then FH in 37 per the template. I only have one mini league that I am anywhere near having a chance of winning, and I can't beat my best ever points total, so just going to have a bit of fun in the remaining rounds.

just the point that you can't climb your leagues when your defence rarely, if at all, contributes.
I guess like all things in FPL - "it depends". The days of "big at the back" templates are long past and most of the pros are only playing 3 at the back so that they can play 5 in midfield as that's where the majority of the hauls are coming from this season. And the defenders they do pick are chosen based on attacking threat rather than clean sheet potential because the clean sheets have been less forecastable this season.Absolute disaster, 28 points on a WildCard, which pretty much consigns me as unable to win the last remaining mini league I was in with a vague chance of winning. It has set me up for the remainder of the season but still quite galling. Some very unpredictable results - Palace beating Liverpool away whilst keeping a clean sheet giving me 17 points on my bench between Henderson and Anderson particularly hurts.
Bloody game!

Anyone else thinking of not captaining Salah this week? Liverpool have decent fixtures but are not playing well.
64 points so far, 15 DGW players on a bench boost. My hunch on Salah going to plan so far, Captain Eze doing the business. Let's see how the rest of the week goes.72 for me and lots of green arrows, thanks mainly to the gamble to Captain Isak for the single game (26 points) when loads of people captained Palmer for the DGW to get 16.
Still haven't managed to break back in to the top 1M but hopefully I can manage to rescue my poor season over the remaining 3 game weeks. I'll be free hitting in 37 when lots of others will be on a bench boost so that will probably be the decider.
