Could only watch the live text here in Denmark.

My supervisor is a Man Utd fan and two of the lads onboard are mags. Tomorrow will be fun hehe

Bit quiet in here.

Decent draw today. Avoided the 'big guns'. I just wanted to avoid Everton.

Small crowd yesterday. Media making a big deal. They can get fked (although there was a good debate on the radio this afternoon about (season) ticket prices - In Germany they pay the same amount as some non league teams).

Its all going alright isn't it?
Weird kick off time for a Saturday, half term holidays starting etc and a televised game.

I'm enjoying the cup runs, used to hate watching us send out a weak team for cups.

I'm confident we'll survive this season, I think we've got a better squad than most teams around us, we're gelling well. We've got a few tough games coming up but I fancy three points from at least one of them (Arsenal?)

Even as a Newcastle fan, I have to say Sunderland supporters were a credit to SAFC today _ filled the capital with colour, behaved impeccably, singing to the final whistle and supported the team as they got their runners up medals. Great effort and even though you didn't win it looked like a cracking day out.
yes Credit to them and the team.

I think had Borini scored that second he had a chance at, we could've maybe held on but despite the loss I'm pleased with how we played. A wonder goal from Toure got City back into it and another great goal from Nasri soon after meant we were always going to have to chase the game.

Proud of my team today. We'll just have to win the FA cup hehe

Congratulations to City too

What a great day. Good game, did ourselves proud I think, they may have won the game, but they certainly were a very, very, second best when it came to support. Club Wembley is not segregated, but it might have well as been where I was sat, no blue at all. The folk I met from Manchester in the bar were lovely though!

My throat is red raw...

I've never been prouder to be a Sunderland fan than I am tonight.
In no way jealous of you...

You didn't get there then? Assume you're stuck at sea?

Never mind, there's still the FA Cup!
Was away when the tickets went on sale and didn't manage to get one.

Watched from home, shouting and screaming and scaring the dog!

I was at the Stables having my Sunday dinner when my brother phoned.

"Seen the score?"
"Aye, 2-0, hopefully it'll stay that way"
"4-0 now..."

Looks like CW could keep us up!

Different story if Di Canio had still been on the scene?
I'd think so, he lost the dressing room, players hated him etc. Considering what a mess the team was in when Gus turned up, he really has done a marvellous job.

I'd like to thank Newcastle for the 6 points they gifted us this season too hehe

Only in the last 5 games to be fair. some of the performances under him have been woeful and his team selections have been bewildering at times, but it is a miracle.
As any Sunderland fan knows we always snatch defeat from the jaws of victory but for once in my lifetime it's worked the other way.
To that dirty stinking mag who always comes on here and has a dig hehe watch out next season because you'll be in the relegation dogfight biggrin
Cup run? That helped get the feel good factor back at the club but he lost it briefly at Hull in the FA cup for such a dismal performance.

Wickham from the start of next season and a full pre-season under Gus. Dare I say I'm looking forward to next season?

Just read page one of this thread, mostly updates from me about Bruce hehe

That video had me emotional as well, funny old game.

Actually last time I cried as a Sunderland fan was at Wembley vs Charlton. Even thinking about it gets me into an emotional wreck. Best game ever though!

I fancy us today, I think we've strengthened sensibly (though need another forward and perhaps a younger CB to introduce in games)

Man Utd looked incredibly ordinary against Swansea, if we can get the goals, I see us holding on to a win.

Prepared to eat my words in a couple of hours...

Well I think we played quite well, liked the look of Buckley, wasn't scared to run at players. Manonne's tackle was excellent, still think he deserves to be No1 unless injured IMO.

Cattermole is looking a more complete midfielder these days, happy to see it.

We controlled the game until they scored, then we had to push bodies forward and it paid off with a good header from Rodwell, who I think will be an excellent signing should he get and remain fit.

Vergini is a good player to have back in the team, always seems cool and calm on the ball.

I confident this season. It's not right I tell you!

Talking to myself in here!

Didn't see the game on account of being in Denmark, not because I was playing for Everton.

An own goal that benefitted us, that's a new one for me!

Don't worry Art, you are not. I was thinking of this thread today.

VERY lucky today. Could have won it today at the death.

Just think it's all a bit slack at the moment. Positives are Cattermole is playing really well and there is some talent in the team. It will come good ( I have been saying that for the best part of 30 years!).
Pleased for Cattermole, I've always been a fan only for him to let me down with a daft tackle. He certainly has improved of late. Still think we need a striker
