Hmm. Being honest I dont think that should be given as a penalty. Hope it simply wasnt given because as you say it was "soft". I dont go with the suggestion it started outside the area though. I hope the rules aren't that silly.

You see “challenges” and contact like that every week in the PL, and they are very rarely given. Why should it be any different for the ladies? There is absolutely no way that was a penalty and imho it was quite rightly overturned. Nigeria look like a decent team to me. Expectations are high for England today, but they will need to work very hard to get through this game. BRM.

England are way off the pace and just hitting hopeful long balls into areas patrolled by stronger, faster opponents won't bring resuls. Passing is woeful too. Nigeria should be well ahead by now.
