I gave Stones one more week than I should have done and clearly Macalister is out the door, so that's two transfers already gone. Need to have a serious think about Rashford and Trent as well.

It's going to be a terrible week. 25 so far, with Saka and Eze to play. Having captained Saka last week instead of Haaland I switched back to Haaland this week so expect Saka to haul on Monday night.

Really need an Arsenal clean sheet as I have 2 of their defenders, Saka scoring some points won't do much as lots of people have him.

I mean this is essentially the problem right. Most of the competitive points teams have 80% the same players. Doing something different is a risk - but not doing anything different means you can't win...

Infuriating at times. Estupian, Saka, Haaland, Salah, Mitoma etc are in pretty much every team.

Was chatting to a mate about this, he was blaming the myriad content creators for thousands of players all ending up with the same sort of teams and formation but really it's just a function of the game itself. Ultimately the non-casual players are all looking at the same data and coming up with the same(ish) 11.

A bit of a frustrating gameweek for me. I played my wildcard and ended up on 39 points, but I had 29 points on my bench! Not my best effort that is for sure.

I did alright this week, taking the armband off Haaland and giving it to Salah helped a lot, although my VC Saka didn’t net many. 57 points and green arrows most places, happy with that.

I've had a decent start to the season which is surprising considering i've got Gabriel, Nunez and Stones who between them are yet to register a start.
Combined with TAA and Rashford scoring poorly I could do with making 4-5 transfers this week! I've got 2 free so I may make 3-4 changes and then use a free transfer next week. Trying to avoid paying for transfers this season where possible.
