Who would have won the games had the rules been equal? And I can fully see your point about 11 v 11 - however having 11 players that you couldn't afford realistically, but could by means of tax avoidance, thus providing a sporting advantage, is cheating. That was the outcome of this weeks decision; retrospection of something once deemed a loophole has resulted in tax avoidance. Lord Nimmo Smith's judgement at the time was correct based on the standings at that time, however it's now been deemed moot, and Rangers of that time were cheating not just Celtic, but the whole of Scottish football. Lots of other clubs outside Celtic lost out too. So LNS judgement has to be reviewed as a matter of course.

This has always been a test case, this has ramifications in English football also.

Back to more pressing matters, this Celtic team are dire ;( Deila has until the end of the season to prove he has tactical nous, and I'm being very generous to him.

And if as you all try to make out that the liquidated club and sevco are the same then surely the new club will pick up any tax bill for that period?

Anyway taking trophies off a now defunct club only serves the purpose of correcting history not handing out gongs years later!

It makes not a jot of a difference what you or I say. The governing body of football in Scotland, which your club play under, recognise Rangers and their continued history under a new ownership. You have an issue with that? Then I suggest you get Mr Lawwell to try and get you out of Scottish football. Or lobby the SFA to recognise 'sevco' as some new club.

TBH, if my club only had 46 titles, I'd pretend Rangers were 'dead' as well. We understand. Keep chasing...

It appears that although the annual It's a knockout remembrance "celebrations" at Ibrox where more muted than usual (probably after being chided by the MOD in 2013), it still didn't stop them setting off an artillery gun twice, I wonder how many guns the British Army did without when Oldco was liquidated owing £93m to HMRC?

I'd rather we were known for being asked to do less celebrating than be known for consistently spoiling minutes silences all over the country.

This isn't about Craig Whyte, Murray, Sevco or any other ste fans have fk all to do with. This is a question of common decency, dignity and respect. And once again many Celtic fans have been shown to have none.

Think every club should refuse to host Celtic on Armistice week end. Got to say at least BT Sport did apologise for it. Come on you weak tw@ts in the press, point the finger directly where it should be. No wonder embarrassing incidents like this never gets sorted. Scottish Football, sort it out....
