I feel he'll be interim in the sense that, like Rodgers, he'll be binned when genuine class becomes available.
That's the spirit!

Leverkusen just finished the league season unbeaten, winning their final game. Incredible season and still two cup finals to come.
If they win those I think you can make a case for greatest season ever by a European team.

Yes it's not the European Cup/CL but still hard to argue against.

A hiding to nothing unfortunately.

What is success for Slot?

Good football with a sniff of interest in the league and Europe in march and April.

Don't be boring.

It's a bit sad that coming fourth is a measure of success now, but I suppose others will judge him on that.

For me it's less about position in the table. I'd like to see improvement in existing players - helping Nunez realise his potential, Trent better at positioning whilst defending, a re-energised Mo and Szoboszlai. Just hope he can get players to buy into his philiosophy early on how he wants the team to play.

If we see those small changes, I think the team itself will improve as a whole and the league position will take care of itself. He'll need backing in the transfer market to bring in 2 or 3 quality players to help the process.

He got injured for 6 months after his last comeback that lasted literally 5 minutes. Fabulous player but if he's got any sense at all he'll steer well clear of playing until someone else signs him.

He's not made the squad, after all. At least he's consistent hehe

There was a stat mentioned on the radio 5 that city have lost something like 4 games over 5 season post Christmas.

This year it looks like undefeated in 20.

Absolutely relentless pressure on anyone that gets close and shows the depth of their squad.

Hopefully our players put on as strong a show as the crowd did.
