Has there been a Cup Final where everyone is so happy the underdog won?

Got to admit I enjoyed Wimbledon winning in the mid 80s
Sunderland 1973.

As one of the resident pie-eaters and also present at the match I can honestly say it was the best sporting event I've ever been to, in every sense. Though we did find ourselves sat next to two Citeh fans, father and son it looked like, they spent the whole match glowering and swearing, nice people. It didn't matter though because the atmos in that Wigan end was unlike anything I've ever experienced.

Well as another resident pie eater I have to say all credit to City fans, we saw loads and despite one sneer, everyone else just congratulated us. Including a round of applause at the hotel bar in Harrow. They were genuinely happy for us.

Yep, agreed re the general atmos, the City fans who didn't leave at the final whistle were very sporting, we were just 'lucky' to be sat next to a couple of bad eggs.
