Fantasy Premier League 23/24 is GO!! ** SPOILERS**
Discussion
A decent week this week with 62 points although my teeth are itching as I had Douglas Luiz (7) and Areola (10) on the bench. To be fair, Emi Martinez got me 8 points in goal so I shouldn't grumble really.
I have two free changes this week and have already made one of them. Considering the second change, not sure whether to bring in Udogie as a differential or possibly another Arsenal midfielder. Might wait to see how bad the injuries really are to Trent and Maddison.

48 - so not a disaster. Bruno to be moved out is the main change.
Need to check who is playing Wolves ...
Bruno is massively underperforming against his xG so that will swing back the other way at some point. They have Forest up next so I'm holding Bruno and Rashford for that to see what happens.Need to check who is playing Wolves ...

Guessing not too many folks had Sterling in the line up given his recent record.
Good points for anyone brave enough to have picked him.
Looks a completely different player to his final days at City. Full of confidence and seems to have found the ability to make good decisions most of the time.Good points for anyone brave enough to have picked him.
Think I've worked out my first transfer next week.

Don't be fooled and I think it is a trap! Think I've worked out my first transfer next week.
He will be back to running around like a headless chicken...and having the final ball of a blind man next gameweek I reckon!

You may well be right, mate, & there are other decent midfielders out there to choose, just feel that Poch may get a tune out of him at last.

When he is good he is great I reckon, and I've enjoyed having in my team over the years when he has been on form for sure.

Yup I'm fully on the bandwagon.. Eying up Salah to Sterling & Maddison.
I wildcarded this week and very nearly put him in for Rashford but the injury put me off. Glad I dropped Gabriel though. Less glad about leaving Udogie on the bench.

Rashford >>> Maddison is going to be the next major swap for everyone!
Man Utd have finally started a game with Rashford on the left and he's already got an attacking return. Who knew?Edited by 48k on Saturday 26th August 21:06

Credit to Peter Dignan and his team Tepic Truffles in the PH league - Boldly captained Sterling (38pts) and played a crazy but successful Bench Boost call which returned 15 points.
A big Haaland performance will ruin his weekend but otherwise great FPL'ing!
Thanks, I have never been so high… I read an article about Sterling on the Thursday how Poch was seeing greatness in him returning to his old self and took the plunge. I had already had used my free transfer so thought as I had no injuries across the team I would pay for it with the bench boost.A big Haaland performance will ruin his weekend but otherwise great FPL'ing!
