A certain Harry Kane was a gooner so you know, not a massive red flag
Apologies if posted before but have you seen the trophy Kane gets for top scorer in German league...now miss Alanis Morrissette THAT is ironic!"It is formally named the "Kicker-Torjägerkanone" (literally "kicker goal hunter cannon")"
[quote=Radec]Agree with both posts above, apart from that Campbell life choice bit.
If Spurs fans would accept it and let it go and not vilify him for it at every chance that it would have made life easier for him.
We both know that's never going to happen , Sol Campbell seriously misjudged his decisions.
In all fairness he's had a good playing career but he was the spurs very own poster boy that everyone at Spurs obviously loved loved .
He could have gone to number of clubs but he chose Arsenal which is unforgivable according to my spurs chums .
It's ok saying about RVP,Cole & Nasri but they never went to the rivals down the road after saying he would stay then choosing not to go for a fee preventing Spurs getting anything from they're major asset to earn more for himself which is understandable but he must have known it would come at a price.
He's got the medals & fair play to him , he made his bed & now has to lie in it but I can fully understand the Spurs fans frustration

Oh this is brilliant… no problem when bad decisions go in your favour
Win more games and your guys would be right up there to. Same goes for my team.
We had one bad decision go in our favour and we've been paying for it ever since. Win more games and your guys would be right up there to. Same goes for my team.
I wonder if the guy that got stood down for screwing over Forest is added to the growing list of refs who aren't allowed to ref a certain team.

Great career move for Campbell but a pretty awful life choice I'd say , he still gets hounded & he probably knows deep down this maybe one of the reasons nobody will touch him these days , Spurs never warmed to George Graham or Terry O'Neill , I think the rivalry just runs too deep .
Nah, Campbell gets short shrift from Spurs fans because of the manner in which he moved, not because he moved to Arsenal. He was idolised at Tottenham. When his contract was coming to an end he came out and publicly said he would be signing a new one to stay at Spurs, he did interviews with Sky and others saying it's all in hand etc. etc.he was doing this for weeks then suddenly it was announced he had signed for Arsenal. He basically stuck two fingers up at the club, disrespecting the club and the fans. He could have just been honest and said he won't sign a new contract he wants to move somewhere else, but instead he chose to lie and pull the wool over everyones eyes until the 11th hour. That's why no Spurs fans have any time for him,Other Spurs players have gone to the Woolwich and not fallen out with the fan base over it. Pat Jennings for example is a Spurs club ambassador and legend these days, I regularly see him and get to have a quick chat now and again. Infact Jennings has more reason than most to be p1ssed off with Spurs due to the way he was treated but he absolutely loves the club.

End of his career?
Ryan Sessegnon will miss the rest of the season after undergoing hamstring surgery in another “devastating” blow to his career

There is a deeper back story that ...he signed for Arsenal
At the time he was the best CB in England and wanted, as is his right to ask, a bit more money. His Agent wasnt the most, as i understand it, the most savvy, and like most agents realised that the more Campbell got, so would he.
He was first touted around LIverpool and ManU and both turned him down, reasons unknown, but agent may have asked too much initially
Then agent realised he might be up sh!t creek and so went abroad, the big rumour was that he had agreed terms with, iirc Barca ,but at the last minute another add on was asked for A return ticket each week back home. allegedly club went ballistic and told him to drop it, he was to stay in Spain or jog on....Agent wouldnt budge. Deal off table...so a few weeks before the season starts they realised that he had mouthed aff a bit too much and to resign at Spurs was now a no go.and his options were going down quicker that a 2 bob we.. Wenger saw a chance and offered him a contract. .. the rest is history

Rumour has it that he conducted the entire interview via morse code being tapped on the this is anfield sign in the tunnel. The Spurs version would be drummed out on slaphead's loaf to say "charge pensioner's more"
Game day!! Must win this one isn’t it? Anything other than 3 points will make 4th pretty hard to get. I guess Romero would also like to hurt Matty Cash probably a safe bet to put him down for a red.
We’re on first today so they build up will probably all be about Dynasty FC vs Moneyball as if the radio has been anything to go by this week, there aren’t any other fixtures this weekend.
Must mean more or something….
