Well it’s not meaningless until it is. And as of now, it still isn’t. Just caught up on the highlights and I think we were better than it felt watching it in the stadium on another day that’s a 4-5 goal day.
I agree with Scarlett though, I’d like to see him start until the end of the season mainly because it will mean we push Son out left where it so much better, he’s not a number 9 yet we seem to insist on playing him there, put him in his normal position and it shows against Burnley yesterday and against Liverpool.
Skipp at left back isn’t the answer, but it’s a better answer than Royale.
Let’s hope we see a performance against City
Agreed, far from meaningless games, if NC win their last 2 games we will need at least a point to be sure of EL. If we don't get it on Tuesday night and part of me is hoping we will, then it could all go down to the last day. and speaking of Tuesday, I am away Mon and Tues strangely enough in Manchester, so can't go, if anyone on here is interested in 2 tickets let me know asap or they go on ticket exchange, great seats low down in the south stand just to the left of the goalI agree with Scarlett though, I’d like to see him start until the end of the season mainly because it will mean we push Son out left where it so much better, he’s not a number 9 yet we seem to insist on playing him there, put him in his normal position and it shows against Burnley yesterday and against Liverpool.

I know most of it is just banter but I would be disgusted if the team just roll over against City.
I for one will still be hoping for a win however unlikely that it is.
The team won't roll over, you've seen how City play and you've seen how Spurs play.I for one will still be hoping for a win however unlikely that it is.
There's only going to be one outcome.

I can't go either. My two seats have been on the exchange since the beginning of the month and still haven't sold. Although, the fact that they are £285 each face value and anyone actually from Manchester would need to leave before the final whistle in order to get the last train back, may have something to do with it.48k said:

I'm guessing everything depends on the Villa game Tonight , losing 4 on the spin was so costly .
I really think Spurs would struggle big time with Europe's elite .
As they are at the moment yes, but who knows what kind of team we will have for next season. getting the players who picked up bad injuries back to full fitness and how they were playing, Rodney and Madders especially. Micky seems to be the only one who's picked up where he left off, couple this with Levy getting his wallet out for 2 or 3 really good additions it could change the dynamic massively I really think Spurs would struggle big time with Europe's elite .

Villa have 12 players earning north of 100k a week , City have 16, Arsenal have 16, Liverpool have 13, chelsea have 13 ,Utd have 14 , Spurs have 5 ,
Unless they have some young academy world beaters then they just will not compete unless they pay more .
I am going to take the 93 bus to Putney Bridge to watch the Tottenham/Fulham u21's cup final on Thursday which I'm very much looking forward too.

I was part of one of the biggest rivalries in the world in the last couple of years with Celtic and Rangers and I understand the rivalry but I've never and will never understand if someone wants their own team to lose. That's not what sport is about. It's not what I love about the game. What I love more than anything in the game is the competitiveness, challenging yourself to beat someone and coming out successful. Anything outside of that it's got nothing to do with sport. It's got nothing to do with me. If other people want to treat it that way, that they get pleasure from other people's misery, that's not how I've lived my life and how I perceive my role. My role is to bring success to this football club and I know 100% of Spurs supporters want us to win, be successful and win trophies. That is without a shadow of a doubt and us winning tomorrow night will help us bring joy to 100% of Spurs supporters."
