Now if we can be serious for one moment, what player wouldn't want to be part of that RM team?

Even if he took a pay cut, he'd be mad not to go.

Anyway, just came in here to say, as an Everton fan, I hope we beat Man City at the weekend. I'd rather see an entertaining Liverpool team winning the premiership than either City or god help me Chelsea.

I've been saying for months that the Everton - City game might be the most important game in Liverpool's season.

Just like to say on your thread.....

EVERTON EVERTON EVERTON!

I really hope you're all singing it Saturday night after the match.
I'm singing it now. Don't let us down, Agent Martinez!

Depends whether he wants to be the biggest fish in the pond. His ego will get stroked massively if he says - at this rate he'll have a statue if he gives us 5/6 years!

I wouldn't give any credence to a footballer making a commitment to a club outside of a transfer window.

RM put an offer on the table and he will be off as fast as you can say 'Bitey'.

He wouldn't even get a sniff of the first team if they are all fit , He's hardly going to dislodge , Bale , Benzema & the footballing adonis is he

We all know if Real want a player they will get him,

Suarez & Liverpool are indeed a perfect match .

I'll bid you all a good day before the angry mob arrive .

Arsenal will grab Benzema if the reports are true.

Chelsea epitomises everything that is wrong with football in this country. From the 'dodgy' chairman, through the arrogant, preening, small minded manager to the hate filled, self obsessed, vicious and ignorant club captain. Even the fans celebrated Torres's goal with a vacuous ditty about how they hate everyone.

It's a small minded, jumped up, parochial little club and always will be. No matter how many trophies Abramovic buys.
Horrible, graceless club with (mostly) horrible fans IME, remember going to pub after they knocked us out of the CL semis after a cracking game, went for a pint in a Chelsea pub a mile away from ground and after 20 mins they all come in and start singing. A Lampard song? or CFC salute? no it's "you kill your own fans"! Not to us as we weren't in colours, just to themselves. We drink up and get out.

I have zero respect for them as a club and take great pleasure when they get knocked out, well done Atletico and hope they go on and win it
Remind me - how does that Munich chant your 'fans' so love singing when you play Utd go ?

Liverpool fans - throwing stones in glass houses since 1892.
You are talking about fans. (And every club has an idiot element)

The conversation started by talking about, club, owner, manager, back room staff and players, and it's on these that your club finds itself widely disliked, compared to others.

There are a lot of glass houses and stones in football - at every club.

I know the song you are referring to - does it really still get sung?

Yes, I am talking about the fans. You might see that I was replying to someone else who mentioned OUR fans.

You might want to stop throwing stones when it comes to saying how much our backroom staff, manager and players are widely disliked. Bitey Racist anyone ? T-Shirts sanctioned by the manager in support of said bitey racist ? Gerrard's little nightclub 'incident' (any other city in the country and he would be in jail). Heysel and the banning of English clubs in Europe for years.

Like you say, every club has bad fans. Every club has a manager who others might think is a bit of a arse. Same with players. Same with the club. Your point is moot - you just let your bitterness override everything.

I can understand. Someone on here made a great post about it.

When you had Hodgson and Kenny in charge, it was fun at first but then you miss the rivalry. Other teams like to think of Liverpool and United as their rivals (Arsenal, Everton, Abu Dhabi, Chelski, Spurs etc) but they aren't even close. The biggest games of the season are when Man Utd and Liverpool play each other... when one of those teams are shat, it's not as fun.
Agree, still nothing comes close to the Liverpool Man Utd derby,

It would take 20 years of winning everything for any other club to come close to the big 2, except maybe Arsenal.

You can't buy History.

Stop talking bks Wolfyjones, the American owners of both Liverpool and Man U have bought history,

Wouldn't it be nice if clubs were owned by fans and the majority of the team were from the local area and came through the academy.

Suarez who has completely turned himself around and is out scoring every other player in Europe. And who is winning awards left, right and centre (with Evra voting for him!) and is the toast of the EPL?

Dalglish and the t-shirts? For starters he's not our manager anymore, so you're clutching at straws on that one. However, Dalglish is respected throughout the world as a football ambassador. Mourihno, ha, well let's just be polite and say he isn't...
Are you really comparing an ill advised show of support from Dalglish to the litany of ste and bile that follows Mourinho wherever he goes?

Gerrard's incident. Donkeys years ago and an interesting view on our justice system. Again, do you really want to compare how our respective captain's are perceived by others? If so, it won't end well for you and John Terry, put it that way.

Heysel was undeniably terrible, but as you have stated we are not discussing the fans here, but clubs, owners, managers and players.

As for my bitterness overriding everything rofl Have you read the posts from supporters of many differents clubs on the last 2 pages? To suggest its just me bitterly stirring things is beyond laughable.

The fact is, no neutral likes Chelsea. Most neutrals detest you, as evidenced by the last few pages. The reasons for this are blatantly obvious, and I'm sure you recognise them, even if you won't admit to them.

I'm not derailing the thread anymore with a tit for tat squabble. I won't be responding to you on this matter again.
