This could go on well into the close season as Saints will claim the football club is ok and Luton etc will go (rightly) mad.

This could run and run, but lets hope the lads on the pitch put the passion in and get a couple of wins (Charlton would be very useful!!)

The Saints could be one of the first "big" clubs to go BANG. The way Lowe and his cronies has been running the club means going into administration may not be enough. Full liquidation is very much on the cards and that would mean the club ceasing to exist!

I'll be there saturday and I'd be suprised if the game goes off without incident.

How does the song go???? "Where's the money gone? Where's the money gone?"

yes 27.5 million is going to be the biggest fall yet, isn't it ?. I'm hearing a lot more clubs are going the same way when the season ends, from League 1 right through to the non-league football pyramid as well.

FA suspend Halesowen.

Looking on the bright side though, perhaps it could solve Pompey's problems with relocating Fratton Park ? tongue out

How much for a shiny new stadium, hardly used(in the Premier League) ?

I feel for the fans but I have no sympathy for those at the clubs who put the clubs in this position. Once again other businesses that are owed money by these clubs will suffer while the club take the easy way out and the rats who instigated this jump ship to be involved again at a later time. While it's harsh, I fully understand the Football league's stance. Hopefully supporters will have more power and say over who runs thier clubs in future instead of just watching on as clubs overspend and affectively try to cheat their way to better fortunes.

I like the Saints. Given some great footballers over the years.

I hope you guys pull through.

Personally I thought it a disaster to drop from the Championship let alone go bust

Fingers crossed.

Very sad news even though i am a Forest fan. Not good to see any team suffer like this (apart from derby)

frown Very sad news....feel sorry for all the Saints fans as it's nothing to do with them! As a Leeds fan I know exactly what you're going through, hope you get things sorted soon and you get back to where you should be!
