There doesn't seem to be much of a difference between BWB, Bodge etc and calling him a money grabbing scumbag and a fraud.
Surely everyone's allowed a rant Mart? There doesn't seem to be much of a difference between BWB, Bodge etc and calling him a money grabbing scumbag and a fraud.

I'm not a lemming. Mr Rodgers is a Yes man. FSG just want to make money. Getting behind the club is hounding all of these money grabbing scumbags out of the club I support.
How rich are you feeling? £1,000 to a charity of your choice that this mid table big mouth finishes outside of the top 4 next season. That's if he makes it to the end of the season.
The fans that attend matches have turned against him. Start like we finished the season and he'll be gone by Xmas.
Is this the same FSG that owned the club last year, when we laid waste to the premiership after Jan and only fell at the last hurdle? Hounding people out of the club, have a word with yourself man. You call yourself a supporter. Disgusting!!

Inclined to agree with this. We have no idea what has gone on in any meetings - anything said on here is just our own views/opinions/suppositions. I realise this is the internet but come on, stop presenting your own views as cast iron facts at least.Hounding people out of the club, have a word with yourself man. You call yourself a supporter. Come on Mart, I'm trying my best. My reference was to both the owners and the manager. Plenty have called him worse than scumbag since the 6-1 hammering by Stoke. As for fraud, I think I need to clarify what I mean, he is a mid table manager pretending he is capable of restoring Liverpool to being a top tier team. I don't think there are any posters left on here who would disagree. I offered £1,000 to a charity of any posters choice who would take the bet. Top 4 or trophy under this man. There will be no takers. The point has been made and regardless of what has been said in the past there is not one fan left on here who thinks Mr Rodgers can deliver us top 4 never mind win the league or a trophy of any description. There doesn't seem to be much of a difference between BWB, Bodge etc and calling him a money grabbing scumbag and a fraud.
In future I will try my utmost to continue referring to him as Mr Rodgers, the manager who has broken club records yet never won anything.

I'm of the opinion that FSG are in it to increase revenue and sell us at a huge profit. That they are trading on our history and will sell us as a 'sleeping giant'. I don't believe that success to them is about winning trophies, rather it is about maximising profit. I am certain that I am not the only fan that thinks this.

Remind me how much he spent last summer?
FSG and Mr Rodgers won't be buying any big names. The strikers we'll have next season will be Ings, Sturridge, Origi and maybe Mario or Benteke. Our midfield will be Allen, Henderson, Milner, Can and if Lucas goes someone else brought in. There will be no new centre backs, Sakho, Skrtel, Lovren and Toure will fight it out. We'll probably also lose Sterling and Sturridge from what I recall won't be back straight away or will not have had any pre season.
This man won't get top 4. Its not just about signing the likes of Ings, Benteke, Milner and Clyne. These players in any combination won't stop the likes of Stoke being able to put 6 past us. Our defence is a liability and there is absolutely NOTHING to suggest that Mr Rodgers has the ability to fix this.
The top 4 this year will be the top 4 next year, even if they don't buy a single player. We're likely to see Spurs move further forward ahead of us by also winning a trophy and Southampton emerge even stronger. But its your money. Name the charity and I'll send Mart a cheque to hold...

As it stands I have said I won't take the bet until after the transfer window. After the transfer window I expect NOT to take the bet as I don't think we will buy sufficient quality.FSG and Mr Rodgers won't be buying any big names. However I WILL take the bet if you promise to restrict yourself to one negative comment about the owners and the manager a week. Half to the charity of which I am a trustee - Rugby for Heroes - and half for one you care to nominate. I wouldn't expect you to write the cheque in advance as I don't believe you would welch on a bet.
So you're not taking the bet. Thats fine, I agree with with you that we're not going to buy the quality that we need and Mr Rodgers isn't good enough to take a team of average players and get them to over perform over a season.
Anyone else, Pommy? Jammy? Glen? Hornet? RWD? You either think he's good enough or you agree with me.

And you're not taking mine? Easy money for charity. I'll even give you 2 - 1 odds in your favour.Anyone else, Pommy? Jammy? Glen? Hornet? RWD? You either think he's good enough or you agree with me.

Perhaps now we can drop the endless repetitive rants and get behind the club, the manager, the players and each other.
It's time to move on as if it doesn't this forum will dissolve.
I expect it to get nasty by November Pommy if Mr Rodgers fails to make a strong start. I saw Liverpool fans fighting each other at one of the end of season home games. It's time to move on as if it doesn't this forum will dissolve.
I've renewed my season tickets and am practicing the Gary Neville song with Mr Rodgers name inserted instead.

Again for clarity, just so I make sure I know where your base line is (you kindly clarified other things earlier) what the fk have you "already won"?

What have I won? Something more meaningful than watching you lose your money. That you and more agree with my take on Mr Rodgers, and I'm sure over the fullness of time, more will agree with me on my thoughts of FSG.
You won't bet until after you've seen the signings. I'm confident that even if Mr Rodgers gets his top 4 targets he will fail to secure top 4. I'm pretty certain that Milner, Ings, Clyne and Benteke are players that Mr Rodgers wanted. I think you're holding out that the committee manage to bring in a Coutinho equivalent striker and central midfielder. I'm pretty certain that those 4 player will be pretty much all we're getting that will feature in the match day squad.
Think with Milner's signing on fee those 4 will cost us c50 million. That'll be covered by the sale of Sterling, Lambert, Aspas and Borini.
