Latest squad announced and they really do everything they can to piss people off don't they?!

How on earth are Carrick and Walcott back in the squad? They haven't played properly for their clubs for about 8 months!

Lambert is getting picked and I don't think he's been on the pitch for more than 10 minutes since his move to Liverpool.

Goalkeepers: Fraser Forster (Southampton), Ben Foster (West Brom), Joe Hart (Manchester City).

Defenders: Leighton Baines (Everton), Gary Cahill (Chelsea), Calum Chambers (Arsenal), Nathaniel Clyne (Southampton), Kieran Gibbs (Arsenal), Phil Jagielka (Everton), Luke Shaw (Manchester United), Chris Smalling (Manchester United).

Midfielders: Ross Barkley (Everton), Michael Carrick (Manchester United, Stewart Downing (West Ham), Jordan Henderson (Liverpool), Adam Lallana (Liverpool), James Milner (Manchester City, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Arsenal), Raheem Sterling (Liverpool), Andros Townsend (Tottenham), Jack Wilshere (Arsenal), Theo Walcott (Arsenal).

Forwards: Rickie Lambert (Liverpool), Wayne Rooney (Manchester United), Daniel Welbeck (Arsenal), Saido Berahino (West Brom).
Not many out of that lot who aren't old, knackered, a bit st to begin with, fat, can't get a game, or just recovering from decent injuries.

Berahino is the right move (though in my total ignorance, why was he previously good then invisible?).

What a joke Walcrock is in the squad, he hasn't even played a game in 10 months! rolleyes And I agree, Charlie Austin should be in the squad, his been good for QPR. Fraser Forster ahead of Joe Hart for me.
I bet Wenger is delighted to see Walnut make the squad.
Surprised no Harry Kane, his been great for Spurs recently.

Was there a football match on tonight? I was too busy enjoying doing other things with my time.
I think there is. But I was too distracted by the sudden discovery that I have a different brand of lightbulb in one of the holders on my stairs

I can't believe you're not all interested in watching Rooney win his 100th cap.

Good stuff from Rooney. Pity it took an own goal to prompt the response it did.

Listening to this on Radio 5 live and Alan Green and Danny Mills are just like your moaning older relations. They love to surf a wave of negativity and I think they feed off each other and make its worse. John Murray and Jimmy Armfield are far better. You actually here something about the game rather than just moaning.
