Not a good day for us Saints fans weeping

Lets hope we can still finish out of the bottom three to take the 10 point deduction this year instead of next, assuming we still exist next year.

Do we also get a 15 point deduction next season like some of the others, or is that to be resolved?

As a Pompey fan growing up in a predominately Saints supporting city (Winchester) I've recieved more than my fair share of crowing and gloating comments when we were struggling. Now that particular penny has been turned on its head.

It's not a good thing for the club or the city that this has happended and my sympathies are with the many supporters I know with whom I've always enjoyed a good bit of banter. It's also true that what goes around comes around so I'm sure that at some point in the future the positions will be reversed.

Three ships have left Southampton, never to return:

The Titanic, the Premiership and the Championship.

This global warming is a strange old thing. Sunny and warm in Pompey, minus 10 in Southampton.

As a Pompey fan I do wish you a speedy recovery, I enjoy the rivalry. frown

Pompey in the Fifth Round? What a reversal of our respective fortunes in six months.

Any predictions? If Pompey can field a similar strength team to this weekend's one then we will struggle, but I suspect they will be facing plenty of turmoil between now and then.
