Just heard on the radio that LUFC may be placed into administration in the next week or so. If that happens, whatever league they are in next season will see them start on -10 points.
Whilst I'm no Leeds fan, that's grim news..

Christ, you'll be playing us the season after then - the mighty POSH!
Spoke to a mate yesterday who is an Ipswich fan, he had been on some Ipswich forum and the number of Hull, Huddersfield, Sheffield fans who had posted thanking Ipswich for relegating Leeds was scary, he said.
When you think of the times the club had in the late 60s and early 70s, it's a shame and to hear Ridsdale on R5Live yesterday saying it was nowt to do with him was astounding.
Well who started the fall from grace then Peter? I wouldn't let you manage a corner shop mate.

As a Watford fan, I can relate to this after beating Leeds in the playoffs last year. I'm afraid part of me is laughing at what is happening to Leeds - there were far too many correspondents on various forums saying that Leeds deserved the place in the premiership instead of us because they are a big club and Watford are insignificant.
Although none of the aforementioned fans were on PH, so you have my sympathies!
Two of my best mates are Man City and Sheff Wed supporters and at least there's some solace in that exactly the same happened to both of them and they've both bounced back(in a manner of speaking). However, neither of them were faced with being placed in Administration and 10 points deduction before the start of the bloody season....

I must confess I don't know a Wolves fan who isn't pleased Leeds have been relegated, there seems to be some long-standing feelings here too. Just look at this old picture of Molineux!
Just remember, the same thing happened to the Wolves a few years ago, going all the way to the bottom division in successive seasons, and we bounced back from it. In fact some of our best times have been in the struggle back from the brink. The same will happen for Leeds I would imagine.
By the way, you can keep Jemal Johnson, consider him a.. gift. Yes, that's it, gift...

Is it really true that if we get put into administration before saturday we'd avoid the 10 point penalty next year?
As far as I'm aware if we go into administration before the final whistle has been blown at the weekend then the 10 points will be deducted from the points total this season.... If we go into administration after this then the points will be deducted at the start of next season. I'll bet it will be an interesting weekend as as a result.
Willing to be corrected if I'm wrong though
Having always remembered Leeds as one of THE great English clubs , and all of thei rEuropean succeses, I cant believe it has all fallen apart to this .
Somehow it just doesnt seem right not to see Leeds in top flight competition .
I am not a football supporter , but i would like to see Leeds bounce straight back , hope the fans stick with them .

The Beeb aren't clear if it's minus 10 this season or next.
