Thank God Frankie didn't go in the summer.
Indeed. Ivanovic looks quite a tidy player too, nice to have decent backup in the squad... Mikel is improving game after game, even Malouda is beginning to look a decent player.
So everything is going just swimmingly at the bridge at the moment is it?

I have to say, i was very impressed with Chelsea yesterday. My first game at the Bridge this season and it was a corker. Very nice football. This is why I used to love chelsea. I don't care if we lose as long as we play like that.

AS i was saying to my dad, it was good to watch a game and enjoy it for the football and not just the result.

That Di Santos looks good, i think he'll do well. And the new defender, as others have said, very solid.

Was very impressed with Ballack, Lampard and Ashley Cole, they looked like they had some passion about them.

Very happy chelsea fan today :-)

Looking forward to Liverpool now, could be an epic game.

Right here goes :

I've been totally bored today so thought I would delve into our home record. Below is our record against our opponents since Arsenal beat us on 21st Feb. 2004: -

.......................P........W.......D.......F.......A...
Arsenal................4........2.......2.......4.......2...
Aston Villa............5....... 3.......2......10.......6...
Birmingham.............3........2.......1.......6.......3...
Blackburn..............4........3.......1......11.......2...
Bolton.................4........1.......3......10.......6...
C Palace...............1........1.......0.......4.......1...
Charlton...............3........2.......1.......4.......2...
Derby Co...............1........1.......0.......6.......1...
Everton................5........2.......3.......6.......2...
Fulham.................5........3.......2......10.......6...
Leeds..................1........1.......0.......1.......0...
Liverpool..............4........3.......1.......4.......0...
Man City...............4........3.......1......11.......0...
Man Utd................5........3.......2.......7.......2...
Midds..................5........4.......1.......7.......0...
Newcastle..............4........4.......0......10.......1...
Norwich................1........1.......0.......4.......0...
Portsmouth.............5........5.......0......12.......1...
Reading................2........1.......1.......3.......2...
Sheff Utd..............1........1.......0.......3.......0...
Soton..................2........2.......0.......6.......1...
Spurs..................5........3.......2.......6.......2...
Sunderland.............2........2.......0.......4.......0...
Watford................1........1.......0.......4.......0...
West Brom..............2........2.......0.......5.......0...
West Ham...............3........3.......0.......6.......1...
Wigan..................3........2.......1.......6.......1...
Wolves.................1........1.......0.......5.......2...
Total.................86.......62......24.....175......44...

The unbeaten 86 games include:
62 wins, 24 draws, 175 goals scored, 44 goals conceded.
an astonishing 53 clean sheets, 1 goal only conceded in 24 of the games, only 2 goals concede in just 8 of the games(amazing), and only Aston Villa have scored 4, nobody has finished with 3 goals.
We scored 1 goal in 28 of the games, 2 goals in 21 of the games, 3 goals in 11 of the games, 4 goals in 12 of the games, 5 goals twice and 6 goals twice.
It's all the more remarkable because 30 of the games have been against the other top 3 as well as London Derbies.

And it would of been 87 had we not had a in goal.

Those are some stats!

The record is pretty impressive. I was woried that it would become a bit of a lame duck, that we would sit back and defend to draw or win one nil instead of pushing on and risking defeat. But it appears not.

Have we get the best home record in the PL?

I might not be understanding the problem here but what is wrong with this? It is just a nice gesture from the club, they gave out flags last year.

I don't see what the issue is here?
