Looking forward to this match.

They are showing the attractive girls in the crowd again, some Father Ted stylee lovely lasses.

I have to confess I have never seen a really attractive girl in an England shirt over all the years I have been watching the world cup (since 1978) .. how come?

England weren't at the 1978 World Cup - so you wouldn't have spotted any obvious English fans in the crowd on that occasion - male or female.

Lots of Scots though smile

I'm listening to Radio 5 live which is better than ITV except for the fact that Robbie Savage doesn't know any sort of grammar whatsoever.

If I had a £ for everytime he says them rather than those I'd be a millionaire. Them players ? nono

As another point of note, people have slagged off certain commentators for being boring, but Gary Lineker was very boring when he first started and has turned it around so he is now a very good host, in fact better than the more modern footballers who he faces.

My top BBC tv team would be Gary, Shearer, Hansen and Lawro, at BBC 5 Live John Murray backed up with Jimmy Armfield and Danny Mills.

That would be incisive without too many histrionics

And yet they beat a pacy England. Whodda thunk it?
erm...me? I bet on Italy to win that game!

But you can see their breaks on the attack is slow, their defenders struggle to keep up with the strikers. What they do well is play a good possession game and had some success from set piece situations. I'm not convinced they'll beat Costa Rica on Friday but we'll see.
But you said they were pants? Assume you think England shouldn't bother turning up tomorrow night if that's the case.

But the plaid skirts, the plaid skirts, and those little handbags hanging in front of them ?

I thought the hairy legs was just because it was the 1970's ! Things were a lot more bushy in those days.

Pants relative to the top teams. Suarez is meant to be playing tomorrow? Can't really say I like England's chances tomorrow.

Every other game there's a penalty, there seems to be a prize to hand them out.

The ozzies are dark horses, a very quick and fit team who are mostly good on the ball.

Jeez...Holland have had a few defensive slip ups this game. Lucky to not have conceded. I'm not entirely convinced with this performance.
