Classic Henderson right there. We pressing them right up the pitch, ball is passed to Henderson who sees Milner on the left free. Instead of passing it in front of him he plays it behind him. The pressure is released as Milner has to go searching for the ball behind him. Sooooo frustrating!
Very poor tonight. Both Henderson and Can have received the ball centrally outside the box repeatedly, not once have they looked to control the ball to set for a shot. Fundamental. Who doesn't want to get a shot away? Too many wayward passes. Too many unnecessary chipped passes that need an extra touch to control. Too many passes behind the player that kill momentum. Swamped in the box and never looked like finding any space to score.
