But the running of the thon isn't a job only im can do, there are lots of people bemoaning that it may fall by the wayside but OD has run it successfully for 2 seasons, if people were that bothered they would surely step up and run it themselves. Instead they are just using it as a vessel to try and get their mate unbanned. What if one of the other banees offers to run it, can we run a campaign for them? Devilstreak said:

Fair points Keyser, but I don't see anyone stepping up as it's quite a lot of work. I like playing the game, but the time to run it is beyond me. I do struggle with why he was banned on Argie bargie, but not being on the footie forums all the time, I don't know his history with people. The jiffle king said:

I agree it's a lot of work Jif but I do think people are using it as an agenda. If people are THAT fussed then they will step up to stop it dying or look at options such as the sharing one above. I just done.see why when many posters who people got on with have been banned and allowed no return should one poster be given special treatment as people are happy to moan but can't actually be arsed to do the work or think of a solution.You might have a point there, Keyser, but there seemed to be a few people asking if im could be reinstated so he could run the thread. Having access to the mods forum, I wondered if it was worth considering reinstating him and asked on there (no reply yet!).
I almost wish I hadn't now, the fuss its caused. I have no idea why The Heretic, UF etc were banned either as it wasn't myself that banned them. But there hasn't seemed to be any strong desire to get those others back as there has in this case.

Sorry Mart wasn't meant as a dig at you I just think that others may feel aggrieved if special treatment is given to others, there certainly were requests for CC and UF but they were roundly ignored (again not by yourself). I've only seen requests for im to be reinstated on this thread the rest of the footy threads and wider forums I haven't seen anything but I'm sure you've had a large number of emails I almost wish I hadn't now, the fuss its caused.
